Eliana Ruby Hotel & Travel

Locatie is fantastisch - aan een drukke straat, dus het is 's nachts rustig, maar de straat waar het zich bevindt is enorm interessant in de ochtend en avond. De fruit- en groenteverkopers denken echter dat het 'toeristisch' is, dus de prijzen die ze opgaven leken erg hoog. In een Junior suite met balkon, en dat was echt heerlijk. Veel ruimte om te bewegen (zes nachten verbleven dus dit was belangrijk), plus een extra bed dat handig was als partner, niet zo goed, dus in staat om rond te bewegen zonder elkaar te storen. In Hanoi tijdens een enorme hittegolf, dus het balkon werd niet veel gebruikt, maar we hielden ervan om voorover te leunen en naar de mensen beneden te kijken in de koelte van de ochtend. Ik heb de planten wel water gegeven, arme dingen. Voor degenen onder u die graag kleding wassen terwijl u bezig bent: de hangers zijn geweldig voor korte broeken en alles droogt 's nachts prachtig in de badkamer. Badkamer een heel mooi formaat. Het personeel was geweldig, altijd vriendelijk en een blij welkom toen we er aan het eind van elke dag vernield uitzagen. Als je het ontbijt inbegrepen kunt krijgen, is het de moeite waard. We hebben het niet geprobeerd, maar een keer geprobeerd om te zien hoe goed het was. Eetgedeelte erg klein, maar genoeg te eten en mooie kwaliteit. Zeer goede prijs ook.

Staff incredible. Staff are so nice and go out of their way for you. They delivered a cake (we hadn’t requested or noted it was my birthday), they just noticed from my passport. They also helped come up with solutions when I was struggling to book a train ticket and stored our bags when we went to Halong Bay. A/C good and beds comfortable. Love the little things they say like, we like you to eat a lot!

I hesitate to write a truthful review because then everyone will want to stay here but it really is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Every single staff member was delightful, friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I have stayed here 4 times and every time was lovely. It’s like coming home. Great position in the Old Town which is so interesting. Love the market which is everyday in the laneway where the hotel is located. Fabulous cafe just across the way with the best egg coffee in town. Breakfast in the hotel is also lovely with lots of freshly made choices as well as all the usual buffet choices. And just want to mention the brilliant staff again. Thanks everyone - I hope to return soon.

Great location, right in the heart of old quarter with lots of places to eat around. It’s on a closed street hence no noise from the road. We booked junior suite with balcony for 3 nights, which was spacious, had a large shower, and AC had heating option as well for cold nights. Staff was super helpful and courteous. Breakfast spread was decent, fresh fruits, eggs on order, juice, and even few vegetarian options to choose from. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating to our needs. Cons: cleanliness can be improved a bit, lamp in the room was filled with dust. Will definitely recommend this place for stay in Hanoi

Stayed 3 nights with family. Great location, super helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms. A bit of dated but has everything basic you may need. Comfy beds and pillows. They kept our luggage when we stay overnight at Halong Bay. Packed for us takeaway breakfast for our early plane. Helped us booking with puppet show. We’re very happy with the hotel. Thank you.

The room was incredibly small, and the view from window resembled a dumpyard. Unfortunately, i couldnt open the window, leading to a constant feeling of suffocation. Although front desk initially agreed to refunds or room change, the promise was retracted just 5 minutes later, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall service. Food area is again very small, you will have to wait in queue just to get a table. Moreover, if you are a vegetarian, you just have fruits and a veg sandwich for you everyday.

Our family had booked a night at this hotel, and due to our son becoming very ill we had to postpone our dates in Hanoi till later in the month. We tried to request several times a date change, but as I was a couple of hours inside their 72 hour cancellation policy they rejected our request time and time again. I even contacted *********** to request on our behalf, but they would not accept any changes at all. I also emailed the hotel several times directly explaining the situation, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to respond. I cancelled the booking out of courtesy 2.5 days out, as I knew my son was unable to travel and so I wanted them to be able to resell the room. My card was charged straight away. So disappointed, I’ve never had anyone in hospitality be so unprofessional as to not return an email with a reasonable request. I would not recommend this hotel due to this experience.

Small and Cozy hotel. Right inside the heart of the city. Food, shopping, sightseeing all at walking distance Room's are big and sparkling clean. Breakfast is only available. Non veg section consist of beef and pork but they prepare chicken if asked for. The staff are very understanding and helpful. They have a tour desk who can help you to plan your stay perfectly.
