The hotel is clean and conveniently located near shopping malls on the way when we walked to West Lake. The staff members are very helpful. They always helped us to go to the road to hail taxis for us. They also informed us how to go to China Mobile main office to get local SIM card. Buffet breakfast had a wide variety and worth the price.

My parents enjoyed the dinner set menu at their Chinese restaurant on the 2nd level. Breakfast at their lobby cafe was good in quality and variety.

The hotel is easy to access by taking the shuttle bus from the airport (arount 30mins), and within walkable distance to the Xihu lake. The front staff, Mr. Yu (俞秋华) kindly upgraded our room to a higher floor. The whole stay was short but comfortable.

My family stayed in Grand Metropark Hotel in Hangzhou last Apr. 22-23. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staffs are hospitable but so busy due to many visitors during that day. We only encountered minor problem because the card key malfunctioned and it needs staff intervention to open the door. Overall, i am satisfied and i can rate my stay 8 out of 10.

I really enjoyed my stay here, I will definitely book this hotel again. They have an ok pool on the third floor, and a pretty good gym for a hotel.
The biggest problem is that the gym and pool are probably run by different companies so they didn’t provide towels, they didn’t provide water, the locker room for the gym isn’t really that clean. BUT! I liked having a gym + pool, it’s not that bad for the hotels pricing.
The hotel itself is a bit old, the bathroom is really old! But staff was helpful, they had the robot service for when I ordered 外卖.
