The staff at Avonbridge Hotel were lovely.. they were very polite and extremely helpful..My room was spotless.. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It was constantly being restocked throughout my time in the restaurant..

Every single member of staff, from reception to restaurant to lounge bar and pizza bar were so welcoming, polite and friendly. Couldn’t do enough but in just the right way. Food is incredibly delicious, wine list excellent!
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. ( They even let me play the piano until late in the lounge bar). Big Italian influence for obvious reasons and it really almost feels like you’re in Italy at times.

We had 2 rooms. Checkin was fast and painless, with reception staff being polite and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely, great simple selection of cooked foods which was replenished regularly.
Our room was in the main hotel which was clean albeit a bit dated. The main downfall for me was the bed, it was definitely in need of a new mattress, springs sticking in my sides made it an uncomfortable sleep for me.
We would stay again

Found location suitable easy disabled parking,clean,comfy room and bed very friendly and courteous staff,good options on meals,overall enjoyed the stay and will return

The hotel was spotless, staff very good and helpful, and the restaurant really nice, we had a lovely meal in there, disappointingly the room, the room itself was excellent but very noisy, traffic/neighbours and hallway you could hear every footstep and every passing vehicle.

Room was ok. Jacuzzi bath did not work. Noisy from 5:30 due to creaky floors.

Disappointing, the hotel is great downstairs and well kept nice grounds great for parking but twice I have stayed recently and can saybthe rooms are dated, a little tired and require maintenance. My beds in the twin room both ancient and the shower was either cold or scalding! The worst part was a coach load of german? tourists were at breakfast and were being prioritised I managed to speak with a helpful waitress who grabbed me a coffee unfortunately I had to leave without breakfast. I dont think that my custom was valued and I will not be back.
