Only food in hotel is a vending machine in hotel reception. Burger King A55 expressway service stop next door is very basic, more expensive than most, and not 24 HR.

Very good T'lodge stayed a few times and like to go back if I'm in that part of Wales. Good base for that area.

The staff are exceptional, very approachable and could not do enough to help. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Will be booking again. Thank you for a lovely stay. Only comment i have is that you have asked for 200 characters which may put some people off adding a review.

Travelodge Halkyn, in North Wales, is one of the best travelodges I have stayed at. Although it was near to a major road, to be able to get to Conwy and Llandudno, and Chester. When I asked for a quiet room, I was given a peaceful room on the other side of the travelodge. I was treated like a VIP during my stay. The staff were all very pleasant, and the bedroom was very comfortable. I stayed there for 7 days, as my carer's break. The manager of the Travelodge Halkyn, was very pleasant. and cares for the people who stay there. I even saw him cleaning some of the bedrooms, to help out his staff. This is a very good place to stay - especially as a 'base' to stay, away from lots of people, and so that you can visit a wide variety of places in different directions from the Halkyn Travelodge, in North Wales. Also - the TV was placed at a much better height, to be able to relaxingly watch the TV. It was not high up on the wall, which would have made my neck ache, if it had been up high on the wall. Please will you show this review to the manager of Travelodge Halkyn,and thank the manager and staff for all their professionalism in their jobs, and for truly caring for the guests who go to stay there. It would be so nice if you were to surprise the staff there, with a Christmas gift.

Had a good night sleep, surprisingly as it’s near the A55. The room smelt funny/not pleasant. Lacking of outside lighting. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Very clean room and hotel. All staff very friendly, approachable, empathetic and with a 'can do' attitude towards any request. I visited with my dog, Jackie. It showed me that Andrew is an excellent manager (a good team is reflected by how good a manager is) by how he and all his staff treated me with respect, empathy and displayed an attitude of 'no problem, if I can't sort it, I will find a way how to'.

The staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, the room was large, clean and very quiet, bathroom was spotless, highly recommended.

Had a good couple of nights stay here. Decent room and was warm enough. Staff were helpful and polite when needed. Nothing to complain about really as it was clean, comfy and just what you'd want for a night or two. I also enjoyed seeing the cat wandering about the entrance.
