Afytos Bodrum Hotel - All Inclusive

Hotel was located center of Gumbet, one hill away from Main Street by walk, it has one main pool, one pool slide opened on mid-day, one pool bar and only one restaurant under it. Been there with my family, suitable for families. Reserved a week holiday with all inclusive (breakfasts, lunch,dinner + beverages) option. Food was decent and delicious enough, variety of salads was nice, bar bevarages was decent not high grade. Room cleaning and comfort were ok but a bit noisy cause of night life in Gumbet. There are lots of stairs inside hotel so if you need hotel with easy in/out options this place is not for you. Overall it was good experience, we and our kids had a lot of fun. We had our own car so it was easy to travel bordum center, Yalikavak, Yahsi, Gundogan and Yalikavak districts.

Me and my partner had a lovely 1 week stay here. We stayed from 10/07/23 to the 17/07/23. Firstly the views from this hotel are beautiful and the hotel itself is very visually pleasing aswell. It is also very clean. The rooms aren't the most modern but are very clean and fitting with the hotels look. We were not disappointed at all and had an amazing view from our balcony aswell as we were at the top of the hotel which was some effort to get to as it was like 40°C and there were alot of steps to climb but it was definitely worth it for the view. There are other ground floor level rooms if people struggle with steps however they can't avoid the steps completely as the restaurant and pool and bar are on a higher level. We went all inclusive and there were both vegetarian and meat options as well as quite a few salad options and desserts and the food was very nice and full of flavour. I'm not sure what the dishes were as I am from England and they were mainly Turkish dishes (I think) but on most days there was chicken and rice available and the stuffed flat bread was also really nice. They had local alcoholic beverages including vodka, raki and beer and they had a few different fruit juices and Fanta, Pepsi and sprite which were available from the bar all day. The hotel is around a 10 min walk from shops and bars/restaurants and about 15-20mins walk away from the beach. A taxi to Bodrum central costs 100tl which is around £3 and there is a taxi base at the end of the road there is also a bus that runs every 5mins which would be a cheaper option which also stops at the end of the road on the right hand side of the hotel. The hotel is very popular with Turkish and Russian guests and we were the only English people staying here but everyone was very friendly and welcoming and made an effort to talk to us. The staff were so friendly and approachable and went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable. There was a very good vibe at the hotel and music was playing throughout the day around the pool. The pool was perfect and had a shallow and deeper area as well as 2 children's pools and a really good slide. There was free WiFi access in the lobby which had comfortable sofas and seating areas. Gumbet was also very nice and there was plenty to do there from great excursions and jet skiing to shopping and bars and restaurants. You don't get harassed to go into anywhere either. We really don't feel like we can praise this place enough. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend and return again in the future. We want to thank all the staff at the hotel for making our stay in Gumbet a really enjoyable experience. We did have doubts before we went due to the lack of reviews which is why I have decided that it is important for us to write one. If you are from England and in 2 minds about booking here for this reason, I can assure you that from my experience, you will have a wonderful stay here and be surprised at how nice this hotel is fo

Very good hotel. Bar and restaurant team was very good and friendly. Foods were nice as well. Also it has really nice view. Pool closes at 6 pm but that’s all right. Hotel manager was nice and helpful. There are plenty of activities that u can join they help you with that as well.

Stayed here for 4 nights, they never came into clean the rooms, asked them everyday, they kept saying they forgot, or they were busy.... also the bulb in the bathroom was out, took them 3 days to change it, awful experience, wouldnt recomend it, pay alil extra and stay elsewhere. Those stairs to the pool restaurant is like climbing Mt Everest...

There are very rude persons especially at Hotel Reception. Somebody can make late check-out but we can’t. The rooms uncomfortable and dirty. Location and pool is very bad. This is the firts pool have 170 cm deep i have ever seen!

The workers are all very nice and helpful. The food is good. The rooms are clean and cool. The location is very good and pretty near to anything. The club's and the beach are within walking distance. The employees ensured security until early in the morning.

Это плохой отель. На 2* максимум! Состояние номеров ужасное. Требуется ремонт. В общих зонах очень грязно. Вокруг разбросаны бычки от сигарет, пластиковые стаканчики и битое стекло. Там просто ни кто не убирается. В зонах с едой и напитками неприятный запах. Барную стойку ни когда не вытирали , от этого там сильная вонь кислым пивом. Интернета в номерах нет! Только в лобби. От чего постояльцы вынуждены находиться там. Еда плохая. Один плюс - это вид. Но, расположение на вершине- не очень удобное. До моря нужно идти долго.

Ailecek gittik . Çok fazla merdiven vardı çok yorucu oluyor bir süre sonra. Oda manzarası iyiydi. Yemekler fena değil açık büfe. Tatlılar çok iyiydi. Fiyatlar uygundu o dönem bundan dolayı müşteri profili kötüydü. Ayakkabı ve terlik posetimizi unutmuşuz gelirken 1 ay sonra kargo ile yolladılar içinden 2 terlik 1 ayakkabı alınmış halde geldi. Odalar ferah oda temizliği yüzde 60. Havuz çok büyük ve geneli derin.

‼️Отдыхали с 8 по 18 августа, отель на троечку, конечно же большего никто и не ждал. До аэропорта ехать 40 минут. Заселили нас пораньше, в час дня, чемодан один донесли, а другой я нес сам) Номер нормальный, с балконом, разносчик чемоданов настойчиво ждал чаевых и не был рад 3$, у него на лице было нарисовано отвращение (ну не 5$ же ему давать, хотя и им бы он не был рад, наверное!). Туалетной бумаги более чем достаточно :), душ, кран работают нормально, не пахнет канализацией. 😋Кормили отлично! Единственный и огромный минус - мега огромные очереди(минут 10 точно простоите), потому что всего один стенд с горячей едой, 5 блюд, один из которых суп, есть 2 гарнира и обычно есть 2 мясных блюда(курица, говядина, иногда рыба). Салаты так себе, хорошо, что есть просто овощи, каждый может наложить, что хочет. Отличные десерты, есть и на обед, и на ужин. Из фруктов(ягод) только арбуз 🍉. Завтрак был довольно скудный, даже очень. Панкейки были всего 2 раза за наше пребывание, вареные яйца каждый день, омлет иногда бывает, а иногда нет, есть овощи, хлопья. Отличные официанты, которые здороваются с вами, желают приятного аппетита, могут даже и на русском) спасибо! 🏠В номере грязный кондиционер, пришлось мыть, в номере моют только полы, постель и полотенца поменяли только когда мы оставили чаевые(спустя неделю), хотя я просил поменять и не раз(по-английски, кстати, понимают, но не уборщики, на ресепшн я думаю можно спокойно поговорить на английском, но нам не приходилось). 🌃В целом про Бодрум: город веселья, поэтому поспать ночью целая проблема, очень шумно, но это точно не про отель) Так же у нас был номер у дороги, на которой очень шумно ночью, потому что дороги вверх вниз, машинам нужно большое усилие, чтобы подняться в гору. У бассейна долбит музыка до 23 вечера. В город можно добраться на автобусе, 15 лир с человека, остановка на перекрестке слева от отеля, доехать можно за минут 15. 🌊До моря идти минут 7-10 спокойным шагом, пляж довольно таки грязный, в окурках, но море наичистейшее, на пляже есть место, где разместиться без лежака, ведь тут он стоит довольно таки дорого(20 лир сам лежак, а потом вам предлагают ещё много чего 🙄 150-200 лир лежак). Само море довольно таки прохладное, не как на Анталийском побережье. Бассейн работает с 8:00 до 18:00, у бассейна сидит спасатель, который не следит за детьми, написано: не прыгать, а они прыгают. Горка как я понял работает только один час в день. У бассейна есть бар, в котором наливают напитки, пиво, другое не брали, поэтому не знаю, что ещё есть. 🛜На ресепшн есть интернет, который нормально работает. В принципе отель нормальный, отдохнуть можно, но больше сюда не вернусь)
