I booked my room ahead of time several day, I then called day of check in to see if I needed to go to the hotel to check in before my meeting. Was told no Ellis you have reservations. Then went to my meeting, showed up at the hotel and the couple in front of me at the desk were being told them at their room was no longer available. She booked weeks in advance, had two small children and all of her luggage, she was told to find a different hotel even though she had made reservations two weeks in advance, I was told the same thing. The other couple and us all took our luggage and hungry, tired crabby children back out to the car at 10 ocklock at night to find another hotel. To our surprise there were several other families in the parking lot frantically searching for a new place for their family to stay at 10pm. Needless to say none of of will be using best western or and of you affiliated hotels in the future. We all had reservations, plans for our vacations I couldn’t ever imagine customer service this terrible. And I don’t understand because all of us had given our credit card information, the only thing I can imagine is they were sold for more money then they quoted us for. So not only did the mess everyone’s vacations up they did it for a few bucks a room. Terrible
