A big shout out to the staff at club amigo. They went above and beyond to make my trip excellent. To name a few, Barbara, Lenar, Dayanara, Natalie, Nelita, dailenis,Mirta, Luie, the buffet staff, the staff at the 24 hr, gardeners and security. They were the wonderful staff that made you feel welcome and a part of their family. My room, a villa, was great. Clean and I think newly renovated. The food was mostly good considering they are having shortages of alot of stuff due to supply chains. Same with the drinks. However there was a wonderful plaza right next to the resort that had different options that were wonderful....pizza, bbq chicken, pork chops and my favorite Pina coladas. The beaches were beautiful and clean. Lots of entertainment to keep you going daily and hourly. This was a 3 star but I will go back again and again.

Club Amigo is truly a hidden gem. Our family has been going to this resort for over a decade and we truly feel it is our 'second' home. The staff are like 'family' and definitely do their very best to make sure your vacation is amazing. Our villa is clean and cheerful. There have been lots of changes post-COVID and things have gotten better each time we have gone. We especially love the 'repeat guest' dinner and the Canadian lunch. Super pleased to see that staff are being recognized for all their hardwork. It was a pleasure to attend the recognition lunch - kudos to management for taking the time to say 'thanks' to staff. Looking forward to our next visit and excited to see the next round of changes at 'our home away from home'.

A very disappointed experience . We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary hoping that brings memories back .actually the other way around. we stayed at the villas old ,dirty mouse poop.smell like mold .doors don't open or close properly and cocaraches the big ones The food , undercooked lamb,pork only is you get there very very very early ,and a fish with millions bones (beware) that's it for meat , no pop of any kinds if you like dessert be prepared to not find a selection, they had some kind of coffe ice cream and some papaya fruits. The government also allows locals SO hurry up picking up you food or be hungry 🤣😅😡 Also no eggs available The grounds are beautiful

My 13 time at club amigo Guardalavaca! We had plenty of food, wine, including beer, rum, and soft drinks, coffee at the open bar all day. Lunch with roasted pig in the garden, they gave us prosciutto daily for breakfast on our last 4 days. The rooms and public areas are very clean. Beach is beautiful. The grounds are impeccable. Staff are always extremely courteous. Hope to return next year.

An amazing resort. The main reason that Club Amigo so amazing is the entertainment team. I wish I knew how to attach a picture but sadly I don’t. The animation team (Nathalie, Yaimara, Dayanara, Mirta, Roger, Yuri and I could go on ) make sure that you have a great time. Each one of the team make the different activities what they are. There is always something to do and as a team they work so well together . I honestly can’t say enough about these young people. The resort is a meeting place. We have met so many people and we are in contact with them when we are home and meet up for dinners , coffee and any occasion we can. We try to plan our time there as a group. Yes we have been to different resorts in Cuba but Club Amigo is our second home. Go relax have a great time. Meet new friends and let the entertainers make your visit an amazing experience.

I was at the Club Amigo Atlantico hotel with my family, the best experience ever. What I enjoyed most in my life was the best entertainment team in Guardalavaca in the best hotel your home away from home where else Club Friend Atlantico Guardalavaca congratulations to the great team of entertainers for making our days the best

In the Villas, this hotel is not young but for the price it is awesome. Beautiful beaches, nice pool (special thanks to Pupo the barman), staff very friendly. Special thanks to Maria Eugenia at the reception. Food was very basic but good. You can always walk to the Flamboyant to make a change and eat hamburgers or langusta. Or on the beach they have very good meals for a few dollars. Find Dariel or Salas there for help or change money to pesos

I spent 7 days in Villa number 9. I landed at about 3am, went to bed, slept a few hours, opened my patio curtain and was greeted by the most beautiful ocean view :) I expected nothing but had the best week. Met lots of wonderful kind folks, lots of cold beer, lots of water from the bars. Buffet is never my thing, in any country at any "star level". The couple restaurants I went to were lovely and I found a few spots off resort that te food was amazing! Super clean, super safe, way too many giggles and smiles :)
