Dit hotel bezoeken is een unieke ervaring! We werden heel warm ontvangen, je voelt je meteen welkom in deze prachtige omgeving van rust en sereniteit. Het interieur is verrassend, zo veel mooie details. Het personeel is van een ongezien niveau, chapeau. Het plaatje klopt volledig!

Ook hier was het even zoeken naar de ingang en het juiste adres omdat het hotel nog maar onlangs is geopend staat het nog niet in Google maps of Waze maar het dorp is klein dus het is wel te vinden. Wat is het een ongelooflijk mooie locatie die helemaal vanaf scratch is gebouwd maar het lijkt erop alsof het er al honderden jaren staat. geweldig mooi hotel en af en toe verdwaal je wel maar in dit geval is dit alleen maar een ontdekkingsreis want op iedere hoek van het hotel en de tuinen hangt of staat er kunst. Ik had een prachtige suite met mooi balkon en een buitenbad. Naast een zeer grote badkamer met inloopdouche en bad. Het restaurant is prima , de bar is prima, het eten is heel erg goed. Ik denk dat ze in de toekomst zeker wel een waardering kan krijgen van Mr Michelin. Je hoeft absoluut niet je rode zooltjes te dragen want alle gasten waren wel creatief en echte levensgenieters. Dat kan perfect in dit hotel met een mooi zwembad en mooie tuinen. Zeer zeer fotogeniek hotel wat op een paar kilometer van een prachtig strand ligt.

This hotel has the kindest most attentive staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Never did they give a pretentious air but always cared for our every need and desire. The decor and architecture lures you in and helps to relax your mind transitioning you from the mundane to the fantastical. This state of mind is enhanced by the cocktails served at the bar and the gourmet food served in the restaurant. Each night I looked forward to taking a bath in our grand red tiled tub using the wonderfully scented bath products. My husband and I slept with ease in the soft bed. We woke early, went horse back riding and then explored hidden beaches mapped out for us by the hotel staff. I was sad to leave and hope to return soon.

Wow! My wife and I spent three days at the Vermelho as part of our honeymoon in Portugal. This was the last leg of our trip and without a doubt the best. Not only is the hotel spectacular, the staff is very friendly. The hotel went out of their way each day to make our day and night that much better than the last and we could not be more impressed. The hotel is immaculate and truly one of a kind. Perfectly located between 10+ beaches within a short drive. We were there in July which is peak tourist season in Portugal and all the beaches were far less crowded than what you see just outside of Lisbon, Algarve or in the US (where we are from). The breakfast was amazing and we ate dinner a few nights at the Xtian hotel restaurant which was equally as great. The pool is very relaxing and a great way to spend time. We will be coming back!

This hotel is most unique in its physical appearance and unique interior and exterior decorations The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate clients A highly recommended jewel where you can emerge yourself You never have to leave the grounds when on a short get away

Unbelievable. Incredible. Impeccable. Vemelho Melides is the definition of beauty, design, and service. I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we loved every second of being on property. The town of Melides is very small but quaint and has a few things to do, and the beach nearby is a short and lovely drive and worth spending an afternoon at. Can't recommend this property enough, we will be dreaming about it for years to come, bravo VM team!

No notes! This hotel is incredible. The design is flawless. From the moment we booked our trip the concierge was in touch with us and could not have been more friendly and helpful -- and responsive! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the restaurant was delicious. Perfect for a 2-3 day getaway. We hope to be back soon!
