Baymont by Wyndham Grand Forks

Great basic hotel with good access to UND. My only complaint was the “business center”. I needed to print a parking pass for an event at UND and it was nearly impossible on the 1990s computers in the business center. They didn’t have Windows had something called Linix and fake versions of word, excel and PPT and a super old version of Firefox. Wouldn’t open MSN or Outlook. Would open gmail but wouldn’t print bc wouldn’t allow pop ups. Eventually took a screen shot and pasted it into pretend Word and his Ctr p and for that to print. Insane. Then I helped 2 other moms do the same thing. Buy some new computers for your “business center”.

This property was well looked after. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent! The person working in the breakfast area was amazing! It was a short drive for shopping. We didn't think twice about going for a walk in the neighborhood. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub couldn't be used our first day there but it was up and running after that. A great place to stay! We will be back.

Decent place.Served its purpose. Breakfast was decent. Pizza ordered from restaurant and delivered free to room was great. Pool small, hot tub fine. Didn't use gym but looked ok. Bed and room clean and average. Lots of easily accessible piug in cause it's a newer place. Small fridge. Sinl outside of bathroom which I always like

The Hot Tub was at the Perfect temp for me. Nice n Hot! The front desk People were friendly and Helpful.

Nice clean room, very quiet! Pool was nice to swim in as well Didn’t like how long it took to get checked in, seemed like no one was working. No one at the front desk and no other staff member seemed to be interested in helping.

Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast staff extremely friendly. Only draw back is the events center across the street. Even though there is a sign on event nights that parking is for guests only, non-guests parked there which created parking issues for guests.

Curtains were off the rod but someone came to fix it. Breakfast was excellent and the person looking after it did an awesome job and looked after us. A big thx. Would stay there again!

With a winter storm moving and appointments in town the next morning . . . this location was just down the road from our appointments. Check in was pleasant. The room was clean and the morning breakfast was very good.

Entrance to the building is easy to see and welcoming. Very easy to see where to go to check in. The elevator was roomy and getting lots of use....it did make some unpleasant sounds that made us a little nervous (but maybe this is normal for that elevator). The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is on the small side and very full with young guests so we didn't go in...would be nice if they could offer an "Adults Only time from 10PM-11:30PM" The breakfast was FABULOUS!!! So many choices...if you went away hungry that was your own fault! The gentleman working the breakfast area was a top notch employee...offering friendly, upbeat assistance, stocking food, getting items upon request, etc. The only unfortunate thing...and the reason I didn't rate the hotel 5 stars....there was no place to sit to enjoy our breakfast. Very few tables available for this size of hotel. There is definitely more space to set up more tables and they had stacks of chairs along the wall. The staff did offer us a small tray to bring our breakfast to our room, however our eggs were then cold and we forgot a couple things.
