We are a family run comfy small hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located in a classic 19th century building near the river and other attractions. We are conveniently located in the middle of Gothenburg and it´s close to everything.
We have rooms for all occasions. A total of 55 rooms, from single, double or family rooms. Our rooms are of good standard and are different in shape, color, décor and size. All bathrooms are bright and modern. We offer a free waffle buffét every day between 16,00-21,00. Then you can bake yourself some crispy waffles with jam and whipped cream. With Kungsgatan/Kingsstreet around the corner and 2 minutes away from Järntorget, Old Town Haga, and the Långgatorna: this part of the city has the biggest concentration of bars, restaurants and clubs in the whole of Sweden.Meer weergeven

The hotel’s name on the outside is just “Center Hotel” so you might pass it if you are not paying attention.
While the reception and the outside are a little neglected maybe, the rooms are quite nice and clean.
The breakfast has various choices (vegan and lactose free options included) but it’s maybe a little more on the salty side rather than the sweet one.
And the current hours for breakfast are a little to early.
It would be nice to be able to switch off the main light of the room from the bed, but it was not possible in mine.

Hotel was great but doesn’t look like the pictures! Staff were amazing and the breakfasts were good, however felt a little deceived by the room pics. It’s not as up to date and modern as it looks, maybe this was just our room, I’m not sure! Very clean and comfortable so I can’t really complain. Only thing is that the walk in-shower we had didn’t have a tilted tray so the whole floor ended up wet.
I would recommend if you are going to Sweden for a few nights and won’t be in the room for very long- but good value for money and overall a good experience.

Very nice little hotel. Super staff, and good value. Just perfect for some workdays in Gøteborg. Sleeping and a little work in the room and common space.

Hotel was ideally placed for what we needed to do close to center and ferry ports and tram access. Staff were very good

Nothing special, beds are a little too soft for my personal taste. Hotel is old and kind of run down. Nice breakfast but seating area should be changed. We sat in the ”lobby” area and not too comfortable. Helpful staff.
