Peso Village

Lovely stay at Peso Village! We stayed here, in the Alvarinho Suite, for a few days in early Sept 2023. Our accommodation was spacious and airy, with modern, tasteful decor and very clean. Good shower and plentiful hot water. Each morning a basket full of breakfast goodies is delivered and left outside the door - breads, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, juice, fruit, cheese, ham... The accommodation buildings are set in the hotel's green spaces and surrounded by their vineyards and woods. The outside pool area is clean and has lovely views. There is also an indoor pool and games room for rainy days. All staff members we met were very pleasant and professional; in particular Antonio who greeted us on arrival, explained everything, offered good suggestions for local restaurants, and was always on hand to deal with any requests. Thank you! Peso Village is around 15 minutes' drive from Amarante, a truly lovely small town set on the river, with many lovely eateries. We would love to return to Peso Village - highly recommended!

An absolutely pleasure stay in Peso village.Everything was perfectly clean,amazing breakfast ,we felt like at home .Lovely place to run away from busy rouitine days.And not less important thing is how owner Antonio greet us.He was very friendly and very helpfull ,he provided an assist with a car !We planning to come back again and again to this place.Incredible view in our room with outdoor bath,huge area with swimming pool.Highly recommend this place!

The staff was great. The location was awsome. The amount of food in the morning breakfast basket was too much and too good! The place was great. Will recommed to anyone that wishes to disconnect from their busy city lives.

Nothing worked well, from the shower to the countertop range to the beautiful pool that was too shallow to swim across. No answer when we called for help. Peso Village was style over substance. Very disappointing.

This is a property set among the vineyards on a hill. It overlooks the valley below. Our room is nestled among the trees and it is nice to wake up surrounded by the natural beauty. Breakfast is delivered in a basket to the property. The team is helpful and friendly.

Alojamento inserido numa área consideravel, muito agradável e muito bem infraestruturado, destacando-se a piscina exterior. A piscina interior, e os diferentes alojamentos merecem também nota positiva, estando a decorrer obras de construção de novas valências

O hotel em si tem potencial, não nego, e houve partes positivas (bilhar, ping pong, limpeza da casa de banho), mas tive vários problemas como loiça mesmo muito mal lavada, a piscina interior fria e o ar condicionado do quarto quase sem potência, pelo que mesmo nos 28°C o quarto ficava gelado. É certo que me ofereceram uma garrafa de vinho de cortesia prévia por ser o nosso noivado, que é de louvar, mas mediante estes problemas todos, "levei" com um "desculpe, esperemos que volte"... Acho isto inadmissível para um alojamento que pratica estes preços em época baixa e que se dizem dos melhores alojamentos... E, para o que paguei, fiquei muito insatisfeita, nem um ajuste no preço pela falta de condições, nem uma atenção, ou pelo menos pedirem-me desculpa na cara e não por telefone! Uma mancha no vosso currículo sem necessidade...

Estadia num fim de semana prolongado que soube a pouco. A quinta tem um acesso difícil por ser íngreme, mas compensa largamente pela paisagem e pelo local, isolado na natureza, mas próximo da cidade. Ficámos numa suite, que no fundo é um mini apartamento com todo o conforto e decor minimalista. A banheira hidromassagem é um mimo e convida a um retiro para descanso e restabelecer energias. O snooker, ping pong e piscina interior são no mesmo edifício das suítes, o que as beneficia principalmente em dias de chuva, em relação às casas que têm mais espaço e privacidade. É uma quinta vinhateira, que tem um trilho para os amantes das caminhadas, possibilidade de prova de vinhos deles, o que se aconselha! O staff é algo reduzido, mas muito empenhado em agradar aos hóspedes. São muito simpáticos e sempre disponíveis. O pequeno almoço é deixado em cestas de manhã à nossa porta, tem quantidade mais que suficiente, bons produtos e varia de dia para dia. Os preços são algo elevados, mas bem compensados pelo serviço personalizado e condições acima da média oferecidas. Sem dúvida deixará saudades!
