Premier Inn Haydock Park/M6 J23

This was me and my husband’s first time over seas, so we weren’t really sure what to expect. When we first arrived we ran into a couple issues with our debit card and phone not working properly. I read in the email I got prior to our arrival date that they had early check in. So we went straight to the hotel to see if we could check in early. We still had about an hour and so wait but they offered to hold our luggage for us while we went and tried to figure out our issues. The receptionist’s that were working when we arrived were so friendly and helpful. Anything we needed they were ready with an answer. The room was clean and nice for a roadside chain hotel. Anytime we needed something the receptionist was helpful in getting it for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling abroad!

Despite a fan in the room, the room temp was never below 28.5 which made sleeping impossible. Needless to say after two nights we were bothe shattered, the mattress was very hard and the pillows not much better

Very enjoyable 2 night stay ,staff were always helpful and friendly in the hotel and restaurant,thank you to Donna and the team in the restaurant for looking after us ,lovely choice on the menu for evening, and a good choice of hot and continental breakfast

I’ve never stayed in a Premier Inn hotel before but I was so pleased with this experience. From booking to arrival, room facilities and cleanliness, reception and evening meals - everything exceeded my expectations.

I have stayed at this location on numerous occasions for business! It has excellent links to the motorway network and I have always found the staff to be very welcoming and courteous. It has excellent facilities and I prefer that it has a seperate pub connected to it for breakfast as this provides much more space and you don’t feel as rushed when it is busy. All in all the staff here on reception are very helpful and I will continue to stay here.

Staff not friendly. Extremely hot rooms. McDonald’s right next door, so kids playing in the hotel car park and people eating their food in the hotel car park. Restaurant closes early when we arrived. We were not told, as we would have got dinner on the way.

As expected - a comfortable room and friendly staff, in an unremarkable location. Met expectations for Premier Inn.

The carpark is spacious so no problems parking. Check in was quick with friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy with all the equipment working. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant is pleasant with a great memu selection and the friendly serving staff are excellent. Just a couple of miles from the M6 with easy and quick roads to the M6 it is idealy located for an overnight stop on my regular motorway journey. It has been an extreemely reliable and consistant experience every time I have stayed here.

Second visit. Both exterior and interior needs a good refresh, pulling up to the hotel it looks really bad. You can’t fault the staff, they are excellent, friendly and professional. The rooms are tired and need a good refresh and clean, just tired looking and the staff can only work with what they’ve got. Didn’t eat at the adjoining restaurant as that also didn’t look very appealing and was dirty inside. The menus was dirty and sticking together, flooring etc was rotten. If that what the front of house looked like, the kitchen wasn’t for me.
