Fraser Suites Glasgow

A good location on the edge of the Merchant City and most things can be walked to or a quick ride on the local subway. The rooms were clean and the service areas good. Breakfast is the usual basic European Style and it was good enough, but something hot would help as Glasgow can be cold in the winter. The building is an old style building so creaky and you can hear other people walking about or if a noisy family, then it is a whole new story of noise. That said, I would recommend.

垃圾酒店隔音差！設備老舊！歧視中國人！ 因為聲音大酒店把客人強制出酒店！ 最後選擇報警處理的！

De accommodatie was OK en het personeel was vriendelijk. We hebben deze plek specifiek geboekt omdat we een wasmachine / droger nodig hadden en er wordt geadverteerd dat dit het geval is. We boekten een executive suite met deze voorziening. De kamers hebben dit eigenlijk niet. Het hotel heeft een wasruimte? Onze kamer was onaangenaam warm en we hebben de receptie hiervan op de hoogte gesteld. Het advies was om gebruik te maken van de draagbare airconditioner die in de kamer stond. Het lijkt erop dat dit probleem al eerder is gemeld en dat de draagbare airconditioning-unit daar is geplaatst om te helpen. Niet de beste ervaring.

Great stay as always, staff can’t do enough to help, especially Rachel. Location is perfect and great area of Glasgow

Beautiful hotel and possible the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in. My only negative with the hotel was I’d communicated we were travelling to Glasgow for a wedding and if possible could we have a early check in, which the replied saying they would aim to prioritise getting the room ready. Great! But once we arrived we were told this wasn’t possible due to maintenance. And after asking if there was somewhere we could get changed and ready the only offer to us was a toilet on the first floor. So no plug to do hair ect. Which after a 3 hour car journey was disappointing.

Our apartment was great except located on the first floor at the front and there was a very lively bar next door so not much sleep ! If I was younger I would have been in there ! I mentioned this on checking out and was advised to email ahead next time and request a quieter room. The location of the hotel is great for shopping and restaurants the Barra Market is a short walk away. We also had our Cocker Spaniel with us who was welcomed everywhere.

We were given a room that had previously had many complaints about it. The noise from the bar downstairs was unbelievable! Couldn't hear ourselves think never mind talk or sleep! When we went to complain we were told, 'Don't know why they keep booking out this room when everyone complains about it as there's no soundproofing' We had to pack up our room and move at 11pm at night. The bar has live acts on till early in the morning. We were given a better room and a bottle of wine but my question remains Why were we given that room in the first place? The hotel had a tired feel about it, could do with a spruce up. The front reception staff were lovely and listened to our complaint and dealt with it promptly but it shouldn't have needed to be done! If we had arrived back later and there were no staff there what would we have done? They should NOT be renting that room out They should NOT be continuing to deceive people This is not a cheap hotel. My husband treat me for a birthday treat and this really spoiled the weekend. This has left us with a very bad taste in the mouth

Nice/clean. Very noisy as our room bordered trash alley. Very stuffy in room. Not a great area. Would not choose again.
