Retreat Siargao Resort

Het is een hotel met een onverwachte ervaring. Ik ging oorspronkelijk naar Bayud op het internet, maar nadat ik naar het huis had gekeken, voelde ik dat de prijs van Bayud te hoog was en de kamer te klein, dus draaide ik me om en vond dit huis op hetzelfde strand, en ik was erg tevreden met het resultaat! De stijl van het hotel is relatief traditioneel, alle kamertypes zijn hetzelfde en kijken allemaal uit op de zee!Er is geen druk om obstakels te kiezen om in te checken. De hele kamer en woonkamer zijn goed verlicht en stil, met grote kamerhoge ramen en complete configuraties, van surround sound Bluetooth-luidsprekers tot waterdispensers, koelkasten en koffiemachines.'s Ochtends word je wakker met uitzicht op zee in de felle zon, en in de woonkamer naar muziek luisteren en ontbijten (roomservice beschikbaar) De ervaring is geweldig. Voordat ik wegging, regelde de eigenares ook dat ik lunchte in het prieel aan zee. Het was een beetje gehaast toen ik incheckte, maar de eigenares maakte zeer zorgvuldige afspraken. Ik verbleef in veel hotels en dit was de enige die een welkomstbrief stuurde. Er was ook zorgvuldig gerangschikt fruit. Het restaurant serveert Koreaans eten, wat gemakkelijker is voor Chinese smaken.De baas nodigde ook mijn vrienden en ik uit voor hun barbecuediner, het speciale Mindanao-rundvlees is zo vet en sappig! kom de volgende keer weer

The staff are definitely the biggest asset at the Retreat resort. All very attentive and polite. We were given a warm welcome and any requests were fulfilled in good time.

Nice place to stay in Siargao for couples and family. Nice pool and beach. Rooms are spacious. Air Conditioning worked well. Breakfast was excellent. Not a long car ride to General Luna. Hotel staff is excellent and helped with SUV rental. We stayed during Chris**as week so the place was empty, so we basically had the place to ourself. Plenty of space to relax. Good place if you want to be near General Luna, but not in the crowded area where it can get congested and noisy. Siargao ocean temperature is exceedingly warm. 84 degrees in December. Almost like a sauna. December is off season for surfing so nothing was crowded in General Luna. Beautiful views of the ocean from our balcony. Property is 300 feet from the beach. Great place for seclusion for couples. Not a party scene. Explored the large island in our SUV.

The resort is located in the southern part of Siargao outside of General Luna where the water is turquoise and the sand is white and there really is no one present so it's honestly a paradise. I definitely spent more than one day just relaxing by the beach and swimming in the shallow waters. When the tide is low enough, you can walk along the beach for quite some time as well. Rooms are big and clean, though the bathroom is a little dark (could use some more lighting in the shower), but overall comfortable to stay in with Netflix on TV. There are a lot of Korean food options since the owner is Korean. Although a little far removed from General Luna, there are tuk tuks coming by enough to catch a ride into town. Overall a really nice resort away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. Just note that you will need to get rides into town for more food options and any necessities.

This resort is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and quick to assist you. And the chef is amazing

The resort is very peaceful and the owners and staff are very accommodating and nice. The room is very large and spacious. Nice large TV in the living room area with a comfortable couch. Beds are decently comfortable. This place is away from the main city which is why I choice this place. It is a short ride to town..50-100 pesos depending on who picks u up lol. Some issues I had here were there were several ants. Some stains on the sheets. The water pressure reduced severely as the days passed and the hot water stopped working. I was taking cold showers my last two days. They could not fix the problem although they seemed to try. Would have been nice if they offered a solution other then going to a different to take a shower which I didn’t do. Also, no activities were offered for solo traveler. Would have been nice if they had some equipment rentals. Overall a decent stay. I don’t think it’s a place worth 100 usd a night.

Away from the hustle and bustle but stull easy to get around. Great service.

A wonderfully intimate location, with just 4 buildings and 4 rooms in each building. The rooms are all closer to a suite, with sitting and sleeping areas, separated by a central wall. Wi-Fi signal is very good. Each room is equipped with each own access point. The resort is beachfront property. Great view of the beach! The staff are really friendly and proactive, doing a great job proactively looking out for their guests. The owner lives on the premises and checks in with the guests to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay. Food at the restaurant is great! Highly recommended!
