Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst receptie, valet parking mogelijk in ondergrondse parking of voor het hotel, mooie grote kamer met de nodige faciliteiten , modern, mooi terras met stoeljes voorzien voor een koffietje, Nespresso machine , modern hotel. accomodatie: top ontvangst: top tijdens Kerst personeelstekort en dat hebben we gevoeld maar was in alle hotels zo hoorden we van de lokale mensen, jammer voor de mensen die zich WEL hebben ruim ingezet en dikke duim voor hen. Ik denk à Stella, Marina, Ilias, kamermeisjes etc TOPJOB en bravo voor hen

Wij komen al meer dan 10 jaar naar the Crystal tijdens de derde week van januari, vooral om te genieten van de prachtige kamer, de luxueuze wellness en het lekkere eten. Door de pandemie kon dit in 2021 niet, maar wij hebben onmiddellijk onze reservatie naar 2022 verplaatst. We keken er enorm naar uit. Anno 2022 blijkt Crystal echter een ander hotel geworden te zijn. De kamer en de wellness zijn nog steeds super, maar weg is de familiale en tegelijk professionele aanpak. En vooral: volledig weg is de culinaire ervaring. Een bloemlezing van de onbegrijpelijke wijzigingen: - De klassevolle en zeer vriendelijke service is verdwenen. De vakmensen van vroeger zijn vervangen door ongeschoolde werknemers, die elkaar in de weg lopen en duidelijk geen leiding krijgen. Deze mensen treft geen enkele schuld: zij worden aan hun lot overgelaten en krijgen alle klachten over het geserveerde eten. Het management schiet hier duidelijk te kort!!! - Het niveau van het eten is beschamend voor een dergelijk hotel. Het ontbijt haalt nog net een voldoende, maar is niet te vergelijken met vroeger. Veel beperktere keuze en kwaliteit, geen afwisseling. Het wordt pas echt erg bij het diner: de vroegere buffetten, die de renommee van Crystal maakten, zijn geëlimineerd. In plaats daarvan is er nu een heel minimale smakeloze slabar, die de helft van de tijd overigens leeg was. - De opgediende voor- en hoofdgerechten zijn heel beperkt qua portie en van inferieure kwaliteit. - voor een karaf kraantjeswater wordt 2 € gerekend! - de sommelier die vroeger de wijnkaart bracht en gepast advies gaf, lijkt verdwenen Kritiek wordt genegeerd en er is geen enkel spoor van verbetering zichtbaar. Een enorm verschil met de vroegere directie! Het is duidelijk dat hier op alles bespaard wordt en alles geld moet kosten - tot water uit de kraan toe. Is dit het gevolg van de overname door VAYA? Is dit de politiek van deze groep? Het is in ieder geval zeer pijnlijk voor de gasten die jaarlijks terug komen om te genieten van de vroegere Crystal! En zo waren er heel wat, leerde ik uit verschillende gesprekken. Ik hoop van ganser harte dat het opnieuw goed komt, maar ik vrees ervoor. Zoals het nu is, zal dit jammer genoeg ons laatste verblijf in Crystal geweest zijn…

We have stayed a few times and I'm sure we will return. We had a two bedroom suite which worked brilliantly having two kids. The room was spacious and well equipped, the highlight being a log fire which the kids loved. The service and food at the Crystal is always excellent. The hotel is ski to door and has direct access to the gondola, the ski shop is also accessible without even going outside. Underground secure parking is also a bonus if you drive there.

We have just arrived and we are blown away by this hotel. Our room is absolutely beautiful. We have a 2 bed suite with a panoramic balcony overlooking the snowy mountains. There is complimentary champagne and macaroons too. I def think I have been upgraded! Haven’t had dinner yet but the afternoon tea was lovely. They served bread, cheese, meats, soup and a variety of puddings - all very nice. There are lots of amenities- 3 pools, gym, spa etc so there is plenty to do after a day on the slopes. It’s about a 10 min walk into town and beginner slopes/ski school. So happy I booked the Crystal Vaya.

Great hotel, room was very modern, clean and comfortable with beautiful Mountain views. Great location, near ski lifts and ski bus across the road. Breakfast was excellent, wide range of options, 6 courses at dinner was excellent. Afternoon snack was delicious too and great for when you come off the slopes. Loved the spa especially the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Dressing gown slippers and towels provided.
Will definitely be back.

We arrived around midday and the room was not ready, We enquired about early check in and was told it was €300! We left our things at reception and went off to ski. When we came back our room was ready amazing views but the room was cold. We were told maintenance would be up to adjust the heat off the radiators you can’t change the temp yourself there is no room thermostat. Came back later room was still cold was told it was due to being on the 7th floor and a plug In heater was provided. Food for us was a disappoin**ent portions are very small and the food was just weird! No chicken on the menu the whole week unless you ordered off the children’s menu and pasta was on the menu just once. Not the type of food you want you wanted after a day of skiing. The spa was disappointing again after a day on the slopes you want to have a swim and chill it was just too cold, not just the pools but the relaxation areas too. We Couldn’t relax in there as it was just not warm enough. Overall an average stay and we wouldn’t return. Which is such a shame as this hotel does have potential amazing views and access to the gondola but the food needs attention, and the hotel and spa needs to be warmer!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for four nights for a skiing holiday with our friends and it did not disappoint. Please see below our feedback: 1. Rooms are beautiful, we booked the Junior Penthouse suite and it was amazing. Incredible views and really spacious. We highly recommend. 2. The location for skiing is perfect, next to the ski hire shop, easy storage for your equipment and ski in ski out. 3. The breakfast offered lots of variety, from freshly made eggs/omelettes etc. fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, cold meats, pancakes and more. Great to fill up before a day on the slopes. 4. The spa, is amazing….so many different areas to relax in. Included steam, sauna, relaxation pods, indoor and outdoor pools. The water was a little on the chilly side for me but I still went in. 5. Evening dinner was very nice, starting with a salad bar and bread. The menu varies each night with lots of options. Of course we preferred the menu on some nights more than others. 6. We booked the half board package, so we were given a set table for breakfast and dinner for the duration of our stay. We liked this set up. 7. Bar areas and all other communal areas are good, snacks available. 8. Finally the hotel team were brilliant, attentive, friendly, and provided amazing customer service at all times. A big thank you. A would recommend staying in this hotel.

This is an excellent hotel and we are already planning to book for next year. It is very clean and well maintained, the rooms are serviced beautifully each day. There is a ski lift right next to the hotel and a bus stop. The boot room is vast and right under the hotel which leads seamlessly into the ski shop. The wine lodge and apres ski food is very good. This was our favourite place. Peter is a great member of staff. The spa facilities are fabulous and the trea**ents amazing. There is also a really good gym with equipment that actually works. The reason I have only given 4 stars is because despite the food being very good and the staff lovely, the service in the restaurant is chaotic, unpredictable and haphazard. The evening of our arrival and New Year’s Eve being very challenging. My tips. Check your bill carefully, grab a drink from the bar and take it up and eat early.

Went for Chris**as to this hotel and travelled with our daughter. The suite was lovely and spacious and lots of wardrobe space. The staff were really super especially in the restaurant very attentive. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice and freshly made omelettes etc. The evening menu was varied with the option of salad bar and amazing desserts. You won’t leave feeling hungry! Really loved staying here and hope to return next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
