Hlid Fisherman's Village

Wonderful hotel in the outskirts of Reykjavik. Only shortcoming: we didn’t receive any check-in instructions and we had to call the hotel to understand how to get in

Obwohl für 3 Personen gebucht wurde gab es nur 1 Bett (max. 160 breit. Ein Zimmer mit der gebuchten und bestätigten Bettenzahl gab es nur gegen einen Aufpreis für die angeblich noch nicht berechnete dritte Person von €70€, sehr unschön. Die Lage ist ein Traum, perfekter Platz für Nordlichter

Se suponía que tenía que retirar las llaves de la habitación por el Hotel Vikings, que está ubicado en otro lugar, pero las llaves te las dejan adentro de la habitación y a mí nunca me enviaron el mail con el número de la habitación. nos alojamos 2 adultos y 2 niños, pero solo había mantas en la cama pra 2 personas, y solo 2 toallas para bañarse. Lo demás, está muy bien todo.

Beautiful surroundings, very easy check in, key was left in the room for us. Plenty of spaces to park. Room was very clean and comfortable with robes for the hot tub. Heating was perfect.

Lovely little find out the way of the centre but a close 15 minute drive We was so fortunate to see the northern lights both nights we stayed here! Would most definitely stay again

This place was an amazing property and the perfect icelandic stay. We had an issue only because the property stated that it had a sofa bed and we thought we were booked for 4 people, but that sofa bed was not a pull out sofa or an extra bed. I do believe it may have been a mistake on our end or on *******. The man was very helpful and answered phone calls even though we checked in late at night. The check in process was also slightly confusing because it says self check-in but you do have to call the facility to request your room #. This was confusing because we were unsure if we had to drive physically to the office 15 mins away or just call, so I recommend you call and get your room number in advance. Overall, would stay hete again in a heartbeat for much longer, especially now that i know the check-in process is so easy. Thank you for our stay.

The most quaint, adorable, ideal location to stay at when traveling. It’s a recreated lil fishing village just perfect. I slept with the window open to hear the waves crashing against the rocks. So magical.

Fun and interesting place to stay. Roads nearby are SLICK with black ice every night - be careful driving, and equally careful walking through the parking lot at night!
