Usually I don’t write review but this time I am forced to write it .regarding Yarlam portico (the grand portico) I am regular guest out here and I came because of Prashant and James and there good service but recently I had a argument with new GM Mr Ritesh Kumar he don’t have idea about the hospitality and he don’t have any ***ners to talk with guest his attitude is extra level so I strong suggest ***agement to take strong action against him and save hotel for going down

I came with my family and I got to know about this hotel through Mr prashant Adhikari and he is the gentle*** who help me a lot with everything and my family every single person of my family like him and his service and everything .thank to him and his entire staff who make our stay memorable best room best service the best everything

One of the best experience hotel in Gangtok Sikkim. Hotel location is perfect just walk in distances from Sikkim ***ipal University. Staffs are very kind specially Mr. James who's always help us to find my destination, will definitely visit this property again.

Hotel Yarlam portico is one of the best renowned and heritage hotels all over Sikkim.i went to stay at Lachung hotel yarlma also, one of the best things was all the staff are very polite and friendly. Specially Mr. James from Yarlam portico Gangtok he help me to get this hotel and he also help us to guide the tour for my honeymoon for the first day of my visit in Sikkim. We enjoy a lot will definitely visit again

We had been to this hotel for 7 days and the stay was really a great experience for all of us. We were a family of 4 with two sons and the services extended by the team was commendable. Room heater was provided to heat up the room to comfortable temperature and the room was east facing with a wide window in the east where the sun rays poured in in the morning. It is located on the main road and commuting to and fro to Gangtok and other places was convenient. Prashant was a very helpful ***ager supporting in all needs. The food in the in house restaurant was homely and less on spice and hot content. Overall the stay was enjoyable at reasonable charges and we would recommend you to try out this place.
