TOURISTS, TRAVELLERS, NORTH AMERICANS BEWARE This is by far the biggest scam I have fallen for in my 34 years of life. Do not be fooled by the embellished features on the ad, the inclusions and the pool that does not show the close up of mold around the ledges covered with chalking as a decoy. Do not be fooled by the glam description, for a gutter customer service experience. Do not take your children here just because it says you are close to the beach. The female hotel manager, who remains nameless to this date is an absolute piece of work and clearly forced to work here by her father or a family member as it must be family owned. The other negative reviews I have read, all speak about her being terrible in customer service, terribly over priced and all of this is true. I read positive reviews about how good the food is, and how the gardens are nice. It depends on how much you want to spend to look at gardens, or eat Italian food. If you are from Italy or have travelled to better areas of Italy, the food is mediocre at best. I chose this resort as I have a young family, I required quick pool and beach access which was listed to be included in the "*******" Tourist Fees section you see in the ad listing. I hate to admit it, I was swindled because I did not print my details of the hotel stay in advance assuming it would match what I booked through *******. I was asked for an additional $200 Euro for the week for no reason, I was asked for additional fees for the Pool + Beach as the unpleasant female manager forced me to pay despite ******* listing that the tourist fees included access to pool and beach. $350 in tourist fees. Did you know that according to this resort despite the legal verbiage, I was charged for my children under 5 years old. $10 euro a head for a beach chair. You are forced to wear pool caps, no where listed on the ad so you cannot swim without them because the property manager will scream at you while you are swimming. I hate to mention if you are over 200lbs, you won't be able to shower as the shower is built to fit a small boy. If you think "towels" included means you will have towels to absorb the water off you after your shower... You will be surprised to note you will be offered bed sheet linens as towels. So confusing for my family, that I messaged the nameless property manager who advised me that those sheets are in fact the "towels". Not to mention, if you are curious the pool vacuum just remains in the pool for over 24hours at a time plugged in with no further care taken of the pool. Bugs are waiting for you! The audacity on this hotel owner or property manager to employ the miserable nameless manager is a great technique. I filed a complaint with the city of Rossano for my experience at this resort, and checked out 3 days early with $0 money back. I found alternative hotel arrangements despite being forced to pay upfront and left Rossano with my 2 children under 5 years old. I hope this paints a pict
