Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle.
I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there.
Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

Restaurant met snelle service en gevarieerd menu! Vriendelijk en responsief personeel. De chef-kok kwam ons vragen of de gerechten lekker waren, en dat was ook zo. Zeer mooie omgeving met kamer met airconditioning. Kleine bonus: mogelijkheid om de Sri Lanka-kaart te kopen die op het terras ligt.

Zeer mooie plek, goed gerestaureerd Kwaliteit welkom en charmant personeel Happy hour aan het eind van de middag, vriendelijk Er wordt gesproken over het openen van een zwembad daar, zo lijkt het, dat zou het beste zijn! En de massages: perfect. Ik beveel dit hotel aan.

Een verandering van omgeving gegarandeerd, een hotel waar u zich goed voelt. De ontvangst is attent, glimlachend en aangenaam. Discreet en efficiënt personeel. De kamer (een suite) was goed ingericht en alles was perfect. 'S Avonds hadden we in het restaurant hun curry en het was uitstekend. Als dessert wordt een goddelijke tamarindesorbet geserveerd met hun nationale vlaai, “vattalappan”. Het ontbijt was overvloedig en zeer goed gepresenteerd. We kunnen dit hotel in deze UNESCO-werelderfgoedstad Fort Galle alleen maar aanbevelen.

Wonderful hotel in a truly special setting, but the real stars were the staff who were friendly and approachable whilst also being very efficient. The service was simply the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you all.

Visited the restaurant for dinner with my wife and young family and had a fantastic experience! Despite a last minute mix up with a reserved table! The staff were brilliant and more than made up for it with generous service throughout the meal. The food was fantastic and the kids were totally catered for with more western dishes. The restaurant and hotel space are very grand and stylish with chilled vibe.

We spent only 1 night in a suite in this lovely hotel in Galle - it was by far the best hotel on our trip around Sri Lanka. The staff - no matter at which area - was remarkable friendly and motivated, the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and the room (suite) was more than comfortable with the huge bathroom and the excellent bed. Furthermore, the location inside the old fort walls is perfect for walking around and enjoying the atmosphere in the historical part of Galle. We can only recommend to stay longer in this hotel to explore the city in a relaxed ways.

Booked for 4x nights and knew from the moment we arrived that it was going to be a treat. Easy check in and really appreciated the information on our 'package', which included afternoon tea and happy hour. The hotel is beautiful, with various seating areas. The bedrooms were large and airy, with all the usual facilities. Fresh water left in our room everyday. Breakfast was delicious from varied menu options. Great location for walking around Galle and recommend the free guided walk available. What really sets it apart are the staff. Professional, but friendly without being over familiar and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you.
