Lovely hotel. Very friendly owner and staff, food was really delicious with great portion sizes. An eclectic wine list and very clean and comfortable couple of rooms. Packed with character, we enjoyed our short but excellent stay. Would recommend.

We had a one night stay to attend a family wedding nearby. Lovely period hotel, really nice well thought out extra touches in our room. Excellent breakfast and the proprietors were very warm ,welcoming and accommodating. We would thoroughly recommend .A great stay Thank you.

My stay at the Hickman Hill Hotel has been absolutely delightful. The room is fantastic, with every detail meticulously thought out to ensure comfort and luxury. The bed is incredibly comfy, providing the perfect night's sleep. The staff have been super helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Came down for a Ping fitting and games and Ping recommended this hotel as there’s fully booked. Cosy bar and lovely room with comfy bed and great tea selection. Choice of bath or shower in en-suite and great water pressure. Evening meal great as was breakfast. Would certainly stay again if in the area.

A wonderful hotel full of character and furnished to a very high standard. My room was a pleasure to stay in. The food was superb and the people were very friendly and helpful. If I need a hotel anywhere near Gainsborough this is where I will definitely stay

What a find stayed as hotels in Lincoln were full due to events and what a choice and only 25 min drive Lovely period building but rooms very modern and boutique full of extras had huge walk in shower with separate bath bathroom as big as most hotel rooms and immaculately clean. Superb gardens and grounds yet only 10 minute walk to Gainsborough town centre in a quiet location. But at such a reasonable cost which for quality you would easily expect to pay a lot more indeed similar hotels in Lincoln would easily be double the cost but without room and gardens this enjoys . Had dinner as well which was excellent homemade with fresh local produce icing on cake were hosts so warm attentive and welcoming will definitely return

Absolutely fantastic place! Couldn't have given better service from the minute I arrived to the second I left! Food was some of the best meals I've had for a long time whilst being fantastic value to boot. If I'm ever in or near Gainsborough again I won't stay anywhere else.

A Friendly welcome from the team at this family run hotel . Clean and comfortable bedroom with generous bathroom. We had a drink in the bar and enjoyed a freshly prepared tasty breakfast. Great place for a single night stopover or if working in the region.

An excellent independent hotel. The welcome was warm and the food - breakfast and dinner - especially good (the owners are both trained chefs). Our room was a good size with a view over the well kept garden and the facilities included a fridge.
