Residencial do Vale

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely loved my stay at Residencial do Vale! The whole place has been recently renovated, and you can really tell — everything feels fresh, spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of my favorite parts: really good, with plenty of variety and everything you need to start the day. There’s also a lovely terrace where you can sit with a glass of wine, relax and watch the cable cars in the distance. Such a nice spot to unwind after spending the day exploring Madeira. But what really made my stay special was André. He’s incredibly kind and genuinely wants to make sure you have a great time. He helped me with recommendations, directions and anything else I needed — always happy to help and going the extra mile. I felt very comfortable and welcome here, and I would definitely stay again on my next trip to Madeira. Highly recommended!

We had a really Nice stay at Residencial do vale! We last minute needed a room for the following three nights and we felt very welcome! Clean room, was also cleaned after Some time we were there, with airconditioning. The host was super friendly and helped us with suggestions on the island, was very generous and chill.

Residencial do Vale is in a very good location. There is a nice view from the terrace, breakfast is good and the overall accommodation very convenient. The staaf (André) was one of the best hosts I´ve ever met. His tips for visits and food were great and it was very pleasant to chat with him in the evening.

This was our first time in Madeira. We chose this place because of its proximity to the airport and the excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. André, the owner, is an exceptionally kind person who took care of every little detail for us. The place is very clean, and breakfast is served in a bright lower-ground dining area. The rooms are spotless, and the views are stunning. We celebrated my husband's birthday during our stay, and André kindly surprised him with a bottle of wine. He also spent about an hour with us, recommending places to visit and things to do during our stay. The city centre is within walking distance, although we would recommend taking a taxi back because of the steep uphill climb. We highly recommend this place and give it 5 stars for its friendly service, fair treatment, and outstanding cleanliness.

Nora ,Andre and their staff were excellent. The accommodation is bright ,clean and comfortable .Breakfast was really good with fresh ,nutritious options .Both Nora and Andre were incredibly kind and helpful and shared ideas for trips and eating suggestions.Their connections and company were top standard and we would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Madeira .Míle buíochas Sean and Anne

Nice patio, mediocre amenities Ramshackle hotel - when the wind blew everything was shaking. The patio is nice and the breakfast is fine. Parking is difficult but it seems that’s how it is everywhere

The Staff was very friendly and helps every time / Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat immer geholfen. The Rooms were clean but the equipment is a little bit older and some are a little bit small / Die Räume waren sauber aber die Einrichtung ist etwas älter und manche Räume waren etwas klein. Over all it is very Nice and I'd love to come back / alles in allem ist es sehr schön und ich komme gerne wieder. Best Regards

The staff is absolutely exceptional. Very kind, polite, helpful and the nicest people. The location is pretty good too - about a 15-20min walk to old Funchal. The walk back could be longer due to the uphill but nothing too crazy. Parking can be tricky but I never had an issue parking at the lot that was designated for the buildings but not for the hotel. The hotel could really use an upgrade on their rooms however. Possibly a fan as it can get quite hot. The walls are very thin and you can hear almost every noise if you're a light sleeper. I'm pretty sure the TV in my room was from 1960s. But overall, you get your money's worth. Still a great place to stay because of their amazing staff.

Superbe expérience dans cet hôtel où l’hôte est vraiment à l’écoute et de bon conseil. L’emplacement au centre de funchal est vraiment top
