This is a brand new hotel directly opposite the must-visit Qinghui Gardens and a short trot to the pedestrianised commercial and food street of Shunde with a plethora of dining options. The soaring atrium lobby is impressive and primarily based on the crystal theme in the hotel's name - everything is glittery and sparkling and that includes the hotel's elegant elevators. Breakfast is particularly excellent with diverse choices including real fruit juices and a cooking station serving Shunde specialities like double skin milk and Chenchun noodles. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable. Special mention must be made of these two receptionists : 李金 and 郭紫琼。The one disadvantage for international visitors is the lack of any non-Chinese language television channels (such as CGTN ), rather unusual for a hotel of its calibre. The location might also be unsuitable for those who wish to hang around the trendy Xintiandi ( 新天地) and heritage Zumiao ( 祖庙) areas, as it will take approximately an hour on the metro to get there.

Excellent serviced apartment ever around the world. Price is less than half of Guangzhou’s one. The room is huge, clean and quiet. The window is facing to south with good sunlight. The gym is a little stinky on the first day, smell as exhaust in a carpark. The worker at the 16th floor working as a babysitter was shouting in the lift, that made me scared. The worst thing was that the receptionist bent my passport when checking in.

Very close to Lecong Furniture City—only about a 5–10 minute walk. For Muslim guests, there is also a nearby Lanzhou noodle restaurant. Overall, everything was great. A very satisfying place with excellent service. The receptionist was helpful, friendly, and professional.

I had a quick check in and a quick check out. Just showed my passport during check in and returned my card during check out. Housekeeping was done daily. Great AC system. It’s a bit of a walk, but a quick Didi to Florentia Village. I have other cities to visit and they were kind enough to let me keep my bags there for storage. It’s super close to Guangzhou South Railway and another railway that connects to the subway. Overall, a great pit stop that’s far from the main hustle bustle side. I also appreciated the friendly staff.

We saw a couple of cockroach during our 4-day stay. The staff at the concierge were very helpful. They tried hard and helped us to buy our bus tickets back to Zhuhai as we could not do so with our phone. Overall it's value for money.

Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around.
