Residence Inn Fort Worth Cultural District

Situated next to a busy rail route. Floor in bathroom needs complete re-do. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty.

Everything was actually clean, even the pull out bed. No weird stains. Bathroom was very well cleaned also. The road noise was unfortunately loud on the side we were on in room 233, but we turned on the ac fan and it wasn't so bad. Overall we will definitely stay agin. The regular king suite was easy for my daughter to turn her power wheelchair around in comfortably. Close to Dodson Cooks Specialty Clinic and Cooks hospital for those having to stay for appointments. Great parking also.

The hotel altered our reservation without informing us, shifting us from a king bed suite to a queen bed. Despite the courteous front desk, they were unable to address the issue. Unfortunately, we did not scoped out our room before our festivities. Upon our return, we discovered stained sheets and pillowcases. Conveniently located near 7th, it suits the area well but wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Well-located between downtown Fort Worth and the Cultural District, but tucked away on a back street that offered quiet and access to a park. Friends brought their dogs and had a nice place to walk them. Friendly and efficient staff, comfy clean rooms. Would stay there again! Highly recommended!

Hotel in need of some renovation. Room tired with re-tiling, specifically, needed in the bathroom. Sheets for the sofa bed were stained. We found some old cheerios under the mattress of the sofa bed. Surface light didn’t work on the microwave. Automatic front door wasn’t working when we checked in but was fixed by the next morning. We were not offered a parking pass when we checked in but luckily noticed the “tow away” signs in the parking areas. A down-trodden man was sitting in his wheelchair by the back entrance smoking, leading us to suspect that Marriott is using some of the rooms at this property for transitional housing, a trend in hotels we have noticed in the past three years. On the plus side - hotel is in an excellent location in the Cultural District, just across from a beautiful park. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Buffet area was clean, food was decent, and the breakfast area was full of light. Hotel staff were nice and breakfast staff were working very hard to keep the breakfast area well stocked and tidy. Given that the total cost of one night was nearly $600, including a $100 pet fee, we expected excellence well above what this property delivered.

I selected the reservation with free parking and they said that was an error on Expedias part and they charge $17 per night

Room needed a thorough vacuuming and mopping. 7th Street is very walkable and there are a ton of dining venues there.

Property was nice, we felt safe while there and didn’t worry about our things when we were not there. Staff was accommodating about early check in but changed our rooms in the process without letting us know. Not a huge change, but it still changed.

Decent location and hotel room. However parking isn’t free. How many hotels charge for parking at $15 plus tax?
