Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham El Paso

For a Wyndham, the property was tired. Pool was dirty for entire 5 days we were there. One of the sliding doors did not lock. Mattress comfortable. Breakfast ok. Twice key card demagnetized, both at same time. Told that happens at all hotels.

Quick check in, rooms are out dated, my light in the bathroom stopped working at night did not turn back on in the morning. Overall I paid a good price for the night.

Room smells, dirty carpet, bathroom sink is cracked, the entire room needs an upgrade, yards and grounds are trashed. Staff in dining area are nice, and cleaning staff are nice.

Rooms were tiny. Bed was not comfortable. They charge $100 fee when you check in and dont release until days later.

The petson working the front desk at 3am on 2/24/24 has a horrible attitude and doesnt know the first thing about customer service and appropriate interaction with guests. Very rude and cones off as a smart ass.

The rooms were clean but the hallways needed some help. The staff was friendly and fast. This is a great hotel for pre-flight stay.

Staff was wonderful. There was a marriage workshop there and the breakfast area was very crowded and busy but all was good!

When we first arrived the agent that was Manning the desk looked at us like we were a huge inconvenience to him. When he Approach does , he didnt say how can i help you instead he say " what do you need" i said i have a reservation and he replied "i dont know how thats possible i have no rooms." I said i made the reservation anf when i did they said there were rooms. "I doubt that". He finally was able to find my reservation and he rudely put the paper to sign on the desk and " said sign this". He never told us about the free breakfast, or anything else for that matter. There were teo people checking in after us. Not sure how he treated them but he was super rude to us. His name was Juan , and wr checked the envening of 17th of February 2024.

Very friendly staff. My room was clean and neat. Only drawback was the room was very small. Not a chair at a desk because there was not room. Just a small room bed from one side to the other. But the A/C worked great. Nice warm shower. Lights in bathroom were great for applying makeup. I will stay again but ask fr a bigger room.
