Hotel Terme Tritone Resort & Spa

I travel all over the world but first time like this hotel.First of all no friendly.very expensive for nothing The pools are very derty and the towels very old. The restaurant for dinner so expensive and the food terrible No no I never come back

This place is literally worth the journey It has a private beach with good snorkelling and we always found a deck chair The indoor spa pools are all salt water so you literally just float on the surface, close your eyes and relax The outdoor pools - well we went in October and i think they’re not heated as it was manageable but a bit chilly if you weren’t swimming The service is excellent, especially front reception….they know everything about the island We did B&B only as we are non-fish eaters so thought it’d be wasted on us - breakfasts were great Very clean and tidy hotel - bit of a maze to work out all the paths, but delightful and within a day or two, you have it sussed View was incredible from our room Forio is about 20 minute walk away, mainly off the road and on the coast line. Ischia Porto and south of island are about 20 minute bus journey away Rooms very clean and spacious. Ours had it’s own patio and shared garden area. My advice….don’t bother with a car as the roads are mental…. You can do everything by bus anyway…

Wonderful stay in very clean hotel with a lot of facilities We received a beautiful room with large terras at seafront Good service and price quality more then ok We had half pension and had dinner in the evening ..food was ok one but evening better then the other. The salad bar is a good start of the dinner but when it is busy better be on time because it goes quickly ..service nice and friendly ..for the rest no complains ..also nearby is a busstop who takes u to Forio Ischia Port or St Angelo We had à great holiday ..thanks !

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! For our family of 4 this was a 5 start 🌟service! Everyone super friendly and the staff at the restaurant were so lovely 🥰 made us feel so welcome! The half board was worth every penny with amazing & delicious dinner every night…already missing the food. The pools were also beautiful and well maintained & the beach although small very enjoyable. We also loved how the hotel was decorated. We will definitely be back for a longer stay…6 days was not enough 🥰

The hotel is lovely and the pictures really do not do it justice. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor space including in the gardens just to sit and contemplate life or have a conversation. The proximity to the beach is excellent and the beach service is spot on and the sea very safe to swim in. If you want to reserve an umberella and sunbeds it costs €20/ day. A small cafe services the beach and a short walk down the beach are a number of beach bars. There is also a small supermarket 20 meters from the hotel entrance. Our room was quiet, had a garden and sea view and was away from the main hotel, so lovely and quiet for us. The only down side being that while there was a table and two chairs on the balcony, you had to play solitaire everytime you wanted to move or open/ close the shutters, so it wasn't practical to sit on the balcony. Flip flops are also supplied along with bath robes and fluffy towels. Without exception, all the staff are amazing, friendly, welcoming and helpful even though our Italian was poor. The restaurant host/ maître d' was one of the best I have ever come across in a resort hotel, the staff in the dining room worked so very hard but always had time to smile and talk. The food at breakfast and dinner was of a good quality and once you got used to deciding what you wanted for dinner at breakfast it all went well. The hotel did what we wanted to and that was to help us wind down and relax. There is entertainment every evening, but it got a bit repetitive and there was no where quiet to go and have a drink as the doors to the main bar area were propped open for the staff to walk in and out of to service the outside areas. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk into Forio, a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus route and a 15 minute walk to the Giardini La Mortella. We'd go back again, which is always our measure of a good stay.

We stayed at the Tritone for a week in June with our 3 year old boy. The hotel is fantastic, in a beautiful location with many of the features of a 5* hotel. In particular the various pools and the private beach were good. There are a lot of good quality restaurants nearby. Areas for improvement would be the breakfast and perhaps modernising the rooms somewhat. Special shout to Manuel, he was always there with a smile and to play a game with my son who still talks about him months later. We will certainly return!

We really loved the hotel! Particularly the restaurant was amazing. We are used to restaurants in giant all-inclusive hotels where you have to hunt for a table and eat quickly among throngs of other people. In Tritone we had our own table, we could choose our meals a la carte (delicious sea food, fresh fish ...) and we did not feel anonymous. The waiters recognized us and were very helpful. The restaurant's manager even PREDICTED when we would go for a trip and ordered lunch packages for us. There was no typical kids menu which may be a problem for some families. There were 2 main outdoor pools for swimming and some small pools with jacuzzi etc. The indoor pools were very nice but they were accessible for adults only. We had to pay extra for the bathrobes. The price was not high but the fact that we were charged for it was simply an unpleasant surprise. The beach was small but sandy. On the first days the sea was super warm but later the weather got worse and it was no longer possible to swim in the sea. There were some rocks on the bottom and some fish around them to observe but water shoes were not necessary. There were no loud animations. Water fitness was 3x/week. Most hotel guests were elderly people. There were also some families with small children. The interior of the hotel was strikingly beautiful.

An amazing clean well run hotel. Set in well kept gardens overlooking its own private beach on the western side of the island. Staff were super helpful The larger pool was quite crowded (high season) but the smaller pool was quieter. Easy walk to Forio town (if not too hot!)
