it was a wonderful vacation - a hotel on the sea coast, with its own beach and thermal pools, charming views, decent service and delicious dinners... the most beautiful sunsets - huge thanks - we will definitely come back again…

The Hotel Terme Tritone in Ischia, near the city center of Forio, is a very good hotel. A lot of good things have already been written about the hotel, so we will just tell you how we felt. In short: Everything worked as it should. Our room 416 was beautiful and peaceful. The views from the hotel terrace and terrace bar were amazing. Our half-board food was good and the entire staff was very friendly and very efficient. The thing that we also like to emphatise is the friendlines of other hotel quests. It was so nice to be there with them. The Aerotravelling couple really enjoyed it and will always remember it all. Thank you all (staff and other hotels quests) for letting us spend those five, far too hot days with you at the end of June 2026.

Location and views were beautiful. Rooms were functional - good air conditioning and ours had a decent view. Not sure I would call this a four star property as the service was okay and there were a lot of rules to follow for most everything. The spa was more medical than “relaxing”’in a traditional sense and the staff wasn’t very nice or helpful. The therapists were however good.

This hotel is in an incredible location—you really never have to leave because it has a little bit of everything. The pool is fantastic, the sea views are breathtaking, and the mountains on the other side make the scenery even more beautiful. The food was delicious, and overall we had a great stay. We did have a small issue with a member of the night staff, who wasn’t very helpful. If you have any concerns, I’d recommend speaking with the daytime managers instead—they were professional, kind, and resolved our issue quickly. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

🚨 NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCED – MASSIVE BANKING ERROR RUINED OUR VACATION 🚨 While the physical hotel grounds were lovely, our 6-day stay was completely overshadowed by incredibly cold, unfriendly reception staff, and a catastrophic financial error upon checkout that ruined the rest of our vacation.During checkout, the receptionist added extra digits to our bill and "accidentally" debited my credit card for $236,000 AUD. This immediately Maxed out my credit limit, making my primary card completely unusable. I noticed the charge two days later and immediately called the hotel. Instead of helping, they flat-out denied any wrongdoing and defensively claimed I must have been a victim of independent fraud.Because my credit card was frozen and maxed out from their mistake, we became completely stranded in Naples when our flights to Sardinia were canceled. With no usable credit card to rebook alternative travel, we had no choice but to cancel the entire Sardinia portion of our holiday and fly back to Australia 10 days early.A week after returning home, my Australian bank officially confirmed in writing that this massive transaction was entirely the hotel's fault. I forwarded this proof directly to management, and they have completely ignored it. Absolutely disgusting behavior and zero accountability from a supposed 4-star resort. Do not trust them with your credit card.

I am very happy with my experience in Tritone , especially people who makes you feel at home . Any request in the Spa, Reception , Restaurant was treated with care and respect . We got all info around the island , recommendation , advice and help.

VERY DISAPPOINTED with our room. We spent over $2000 for three nights for an ocean view room and the only way to see the ocean was physically going out on our deck. Very misleading. We asked for a better room and they offered us one looking at another building with the sea behind it. The best part of the stay was the great staff at breakfast and the beach. The pool area is dark and dingy and the hotel seems to cater to those over 70 years. We know it's the off season but it wasn't a fun experience for our family. We do not recommend staying here if you have children or want a true ocean view. Also my daughter woke up with strange bug bites all over her body.

We had an overall great experience at this resort. The grounds are beautiful and smell wonderful due to the plants planted around the grounds. The beds were comfortable and the view from our room was amazing. The private beach was a great touch as well! The only downsides were that probably 90% of the people staying here were older retired folk and we got awful mosquito bites. Other than that everything was perfect! The store across the street sells bus tickets too so it makes it very easy to get around the island via public transportation.

I’ll try to be as fair as possible. This place is really beautiful. It’s a gorgeous building and a very pretty setting right on the water. I know everyone has their own expectations and mine were not met on many levels. First of all the place didn’t seem like a real hotel. I THINK it’s more like an all inclusive resort (that doesn’t include very much). My stay was for a superior room with terrace and ocean view. The view was obstructed and the terrace was so small it was not usable. There was a table and two lounge chairs that you almost had to walk on in order to sit on them. The room next to us had a terrace at least twice the size as ours. They advertise they have a gym, they do not. They a treadmill, a 60 yr old stationary bike and 15lbs of metal plates. Yes a grand total of 15lbs. If you want to eat lunch you can do so between the hours of 12-1pm and choose from about 10 item on the menu. Breakfast was included with my room. The breakfast I assume is very European, lots of pastries some cheese and meats and warm scrambled eggs. Dinner??? I THINK the deal was you had to buy a buffet for $45 per person which would but nothing was clearly communicated to me. There were about 100 elderly people at the resort from Milan on some sort of tour/vacation and ALL of them, ALL of them were grumpy and NEVER smiled. The hotel is located in a very rural residential area that is charming in its own right but there’s nothing around it. You’d need to take a quick cab ride into Forio.
