I liked that each room has its own exterior entrance. Near Williams Bay, Yerkes Observatory, and great restaurants in Walworth, with cute shops

Very dirty room. I woke up to bed bugs crawling on me and when investigating the bugs, stepped in vomit on the carpet. It was dark, but when I used my phone light, I could see vomit on the carpet, splashed on the wall and on the side of the bed.
The woman at the front desk was nice and understanding of our issue and said it must have been the last guests. However I feel I have to write a review with how dirty and gross the room was.
We left quickly so the nice location didn't stand out as much.
I hope this was an isolated incident and they can correct their cleaning routine.

Freshly painted and owners were very nice. Had an issue with TV and he came and fixed it immediately! Not fancy but clean and would stay again

I asked for an early check-in because I had a wedding in town, and my room was ready early as promised. The people working at the desk were very nice and friendly. The room was clean but could definitely use some updating and better lighting.

The people above us had children playing and running all over the place, until about 10pm. But the place could use some renovations. But overall it was a decent stay.

Great area and this older hotel is a nice option. Hotel needs updating but it was clean. Less expensive than the Abbey.

This is NOT the resort, don't confuse the two like we did. This is a motel. In a classic sense. It is NOT a $280 a night motel like we paid. It is a $90 a night stay at best.
If you need a bed and shower, but not a pool etc. it's fine. Don't expect more.
