The staff is friendly. But others are not satisfied. I will not choose there next time.

Boeking geannuleerd en pre-payment van 50 euro niet ontvangen, reageren ook niet meer Beoordeling van Hotel Villa Rita Beoordeling in behandeling Mijn boeking was geannuleerd omdat hun betalingsysteem niet werkte. Zowel de creditcard van mijn vriend als die van mij deed het niet. Wel heb ik een aanbetaling gedaan van 50 euro die werd afgeschreven. Nu is mijn boeking geannuleerd en is er 50 euro afgeschreven. Hostelworld zegt dat ik bij het hotel moet zijn en het hotel andersom. Bovendien reageert het hotel niet meer op mijn email. Ik ben erg ontevreden over de hele situatie en ik vind het belachelijk dat ik een pre-payment zou moeten betalen terwijl het betalingssysteem van het hotel zélf niet werkt!

The hotel is easy to reach from the main train station by bus, and is only 5 minutes walking to many shopping streets in the city center. The hotel personnel was also very kind and helpful every time. The breakfast was simple but also good, and the coffee was very tasty! I would definitely stay here again in my next visit to Florence!

Lovely little hotel, had a great stay. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, and the aircon in the room was a godsend. Staff were very helpful and friendly which was great. All main attractions are about 20 mins walk away and I felt the hotel was in a safe area for walking back at night. As a solo female traveller, I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Hotel Rita Major, Florence. Situated approx 15 mins walk from Firenze Campo di Marte train station and approx 30 mins walk from Firenze S.M. Novella train station. Friendly staff, Jenny very helpful with her excellent english and Edwardo such a lovely gentleman. The hotel is in a very old building with lots of character. Nice outdoor space to sit with a drink. Rooms a little tight, basic but adequate. Bathroom includes hairdryer and excellent shower. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast just right with hot drinks, juices, cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese, cakes, fruit, yogurts, croissants and jam/chocolate. Pizza restaurant next door and coffee shop short walk up the street

The hotel is old, but fulfills the basics very well and we cannot ask much more of a 2 stars hotel. It's 15 min walk from city center, everything was very clean and organized, room was clean and they left new towels everyday. Breakfast was basic but enough and the staff was the best, they were extremely welcoming, from the receptionist to the breakfast staff, all very kind and available. The only improvement would for sure be the soundproof of the rooms, we could hear everything from the street and the other rooms, every time someone came in and out from the reception. Luckily the area is pretty calm, otherwise would be hard to sleep

Service is friendly and Jenny at reception is so helpful. Also, breakfast is lovely, location quiet but central. Also an outdoor area to sit in during the day. Coffee and drinks available at the bar at any time .

Great trip and a great and welcoming hotel. Appreciate all the help they gave us. Friends flight got cancelled and they helpedhim out with setting up taxi to airport very early next day. 24/7 desk is nice too.
