A birthday weekend was made extra special by our discovery of the Habberstad House Bed & Breakfast in Lanesboro, MN. We stayed in the Carriage House and the space was amazing and perfect! Hosts Elaine and Mark were great and we were able to tour all the other rooms available in the main house! Let us say, each and every room is absolutely wonderful and we would like to stay in all of them!! The breakfasts were amazing and personally delivered each morning to the Carriage House in a picnic basket! What a treat! We look forward to returning soon! A wonderful birthday weekend! Since 1999, a group of us gals (all family members) have been getting together for Mother’s Day Weekend. We choose a different town & B & B each year. This year we chose the Habberstad House B & B in Lanesboro, Minnesota. What an amazing time we had. The B & B was absolutely beautiful, so clean & spotless, had the most comfortable beds & pillows and the breakfasts were to die for! The hostess, Elaine, was so accommodating & the sweetest person! After our stay, we all agreed that the Habberstad House B & B was one of our most favorite B & B’s if not the most favorite. Thanks Elaine for the hospitality you showed us.
