We kwamen aan om 9.30 uur. Ondanks dat we all inclusief hebben was een kop koffie een probleem. Op dit tijdstip moet je de koffie betalen. Maar tijdens ontbijt lunch diner is het gratis. Oja en tijdens het snack moment. Daar later meer over. De eerste 2 dagen werden wij (2 personen) aan een tafel gezet met 2 andere mensen uit Duitsland. Je zit dus bij ontbijt, lunch en diner bij anderen aan tafel. Dit hebben we nog nooit eerder meegemaakt. Erg gezellig maar het hoort niet. All Inclusief is een heel klein deel van de drankenkaart. Een rum cola wel maar een simpele pina colada niet. Je kunt iedere dag een snack eten bij de bar. Moet je snel zijn want binnen all inclusief is dit een uurtje tussen 16-17 uur. Daarvoor en daarna geen snacks binnen je all inclusief. Let op hier zijn snack een witte sandwich kaas of tonijn. Dat is de keuze. Oja en als je geluk hebt een chocolade cake. Bij aankomst werd ons vertelt dat we 2 dagen in een luxer huisje mochten verblijven. Tegen bijbetaling kunnen we hier blijven anders na 2 dagen naar het huisje waar we voor betaald hebben. Vreemde manier van extra geld verdienen. Toen we na 2 dagen zeiden we gaan wel naar een ander huisje mochten we opeens blijven zitten in het huisje aan zee. All Inclusivo is bij Embudu niet alle nationale en internationale dranken. Zo kun je kiezen uit 7 cocktails. Op de cocktailkaart staan er wel 20. Geeft niet maar cocktails worden gemaakt met nationale en internationale sterke dranken die, volgens de reisorganisatie, bij all Inclusivo behoren. Let dus goed op wat je besteld want het kan bij all-inclusive horen of het komt op je rekening. Volgens de ‘folder’ is er iedere avond entertainment, een artiest of bandje. Op onze 3e dag niks van dit alles. Maakt niet uit. Wij vragen aan de receptie. De muzikant is al dagen ziek. Dus wachten tot hij weer beter is. Oké dan weten we dat. All Inclusive heeft hier een andere betekenis dan op andere vakantie bestemmingen. Een prachtig resort waar mensen een 9 voor geven en wat het zeker ook waard is. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad ondanks iedere dag 1 of meerdere regenbuien.

de structuur weerspiegelt mijn behoeften, ik waardeer het dat ik geen entertainment, jetski's en tv heb. en al het andere dat de rust en stilte wegneemt..
Ik vind het niet leuk dat je op de foto's nog steeds de lange strook wit zand ziet die helaas niet meer bestaat omdat deze door de zee is geërodeerd.

This was our 3rd visit and was for my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect including the food. The snorkeling was fabulous. Our bed was decorated beautifully on my husband’s birthday and were given a birthday cake and fruit platter which was lovely. The day before we left we were upgraded for the night to a water villa which was a lovely gesture. Thank you to all the staff xx

I wanted to go on a once in a lifetime holiday, just to chill out and forget about work for a week, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The island, the water bungalow, the food, the very friendly and helpful staff, it was just perfect. So I would like to say thank you, and because I loved it I'm coming back next February so the once in a lifetime holiday is now twice. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay in this piece of paradise. Great snorkling and diving experience. Besides, good service, especially big thanks to Sumeda who served our romantic dinner in a very professional but also friendy way, great guy thanks, Embudu! minus-slow wifi (which is acceptable in my view, as anyway a place to recharge)

We booked 2 weeks in a superior bungalow, perfect for us, roomy & shaded by palm trees and mangroves. Half board provided plentiful breakfast and dinner buffets. Nice deck bar for sundowners. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to the superb house reef for snorkelling; we also booked 6 boat trips for excellent snorkelling at other reefs. The prime reasons for this holiday was to relax, unwind and take plenty of underwater photos, which we did! Highly recommended.

Beautiful white sandy island south of Malé, Embudu village is a great place to relax with a beautiful beach and house reef, the great bar with Asanka and Dashel from Sri Lanka is beautifully staffed with friendly and warm spirit and atmosphere, the bar is situated on the southwest part of the small island allowing for sunsets watching and drinking, very nice food, quiet spot, clean and very friendly, 10 on 10 for my visit of one night. Thank you very much.

This was our second visit to the island in as many years and thankfully nothing had changed. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks again. Many thanks to Rasheed and all the staff who go out of their way to look after you and always make you feel welcomed. it is the first island to welcome tourists from 45 years ago and has not lost any of its charm and hopefully will keep it that way. Would most definitely return again for what we believe is most relaxing resort ever. Big thanks to Badhoour (the wildlife specialist), Ravindra, Santosh and Kamal in keeping us well lubricated LOL!

Embudu an amazing place, we stayed in a superior beach bungalow all-inclusive, and it was perfect. From boarding the speedboat transfer to the resort within less than 60 minutes we were welcomed and checked in by the friendliest attentive staff. Our bungalow No 17 was a perfect location a few steps from the sea, rooms are clean with a comfortable bed and great aircon also including a fridge, safe, kettle, two free bottles of water per day. The food on offer at Embudu is lovely, having your own set table for the stay is a fantastic idea and feels more personal. All the staff at Embudu were fabulous. The staff in the main bar are funny, brilliant, and extremely good cocktail makers. The Dive Centre have some great snorkelling trips which are great and reasonable priced, the stingray city was brilliant. Embudu is not a pretentious Maldives resort, relaxing and simply perfect. Thank you to everyone for our little bit of paradise.
