I ended up not staying here. There was an emergency. I planned to take my friend away for a nice getaway weekend as she lost her fiance a week and a few days before their wedding day. I wanted to do something kind for her and take her mind off of it. This looked like a nice choice! Unfortunately, we were unable to make it up as she is an au pair for a 2 year old whose parents had an emergency and did not come home as planned. The only time when I was able to call was at 11:30PM on Friday 8/18, the day of the 1st night we booked. I spoke with Dominique who informed me that we may be charged the 1st nights stay as it's their policy. She asked if we were still coming, I explained, no we cannot make it. After speaking to the manager she confirmed that, no we cannot waive the no show policy they have. I accepted it. She said it would be $179.87. Fine. I look in my account to see the 2 nights stay charge $359.74 PLUS the refunded amount $179.87. That's $539.61. I was told I could speak to the manager, called & he was out. I was told he would be in in an hour, received a call again from Sonya, he was not in. I reached out to several representatives on ********* to ask them to reach out and was told I'd get an email about status, no email. I had to drive to Chase Bank in the middle of a work day for proof of transactions, never speaking to the manager, not receiving status updates through email and dealing with an unkind representative. I will never recommend this hotel.
