We visited for New Years Eve and it was really fantastic. Excellent service, great dinner and views of the fireworks in Barcelona and super comfortable rooms. Rooms were a little hot but we managed by opening the window. We didn´t use the spa but visited and will definitely be back to try some treatments. Its an oasis not far from Barcelona and well worth a visit. Yes its a bit old and not perfect but that adds to the charm for me!!

The location is bit far from the city center but the view to the city is amazing. The staff is wonderful, kind and helpful. Amazing!

Personnel au top, hôtel magnifique, belle vue sur Barcelone.
Points négatifs: la piscine n'était pas chauffée, loin du centre de Barcelone il faut une voiture.

Het gebouw is prachtig, we hielden van de rijke historiek, maar je ziet heel wat mankementen. Er zou een grondige renovatie dienen gebeuren en fijnere afwerking. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en gedienstig, maar aan de receptie onbeholpen en geen al te goede opvoeding. We waren echt ontgoocheld over de familiekamer.Geen zicht op Barcelona (waarom je dit vooral wil boeken) en geen terras. Onze kinderen van 9 en 11 moesten in een klein divanbed samen slapen. Terwijl op alle foto's de familiekamers aparte bedden hebben. Zij werden ook niet meegeteld, Geen slippers of badjassen, geen snoepjes op hun bed, Wel op het onze..... de speciale supplies voor kinderen dat je ziet op insta waren er niet. De shuttlebus is er ook (niet) meer. Ofwel zorg je dat je zelf een wagen hebt of betaal je veel geld voor een taxi. Reken op een half uur tot het centrum. Het ontbijt was heel lekker en verzorgd en het personeel is excellent. Ook de bedden (voor volwassenen) waren heerlijk. Iemand was jarig van het gezin tijdens het verblijf dit werd niet opgemerkt bij incheck. Wat me nog het meest stoorde is dat ik rechtstreeks boekte, ik zag erna dat de prijs op boeking 120 euro goedkoper was, heb dit een paar keer gemeld, maar ze wouden hier niks aan wijzigen. We hebben genoten van Barcelona, maar het hotel is te duur voor wat je krijgt. (975 euro voor twee nachten inclusief ontbijt).

This is a lovely hotel set in the hills above Barcelona. We had an amazing corner suite which gave us wonderful views of Barcelona and the sea. The furnishings are beautiful and high quality. Apparently next year is their centenary and they are planning a big refurb but hopefully more maintenance rather than changing too much. The staff are superb - the moment you walk in, you are made to feel welcome and ‘special’. They are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. It feels a very luxurious hotel - we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. We will definitely be returning next year.

Amazing hotel, the building stands out at the top of the mountain and can be seen standing above Barcelona! Our suite was lovely with beautiful views of the city from every window! At night the city lit up was stunning. Huge comfortable bed, plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Staff amazing, helpful and friendly, Ferran gave us lots of information about the city and where to go! Lovely spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym eqtsnd sauna with everything provided. And finally the restaurant, had the most delicious meal, food beautifully presented and tasted devine, with impeccable service. Only thing you need to be aware of is that you need to get a taxi to and from Barcelona city, on average €30 a time but using the FREENOW app was useful and take the price not the metered method and that can be a lot more! But the hotel stay is more than worth the taxi rides!
