Camping Playa Las Dunas

First time staying at camping las Dunas with caravan Great site well run, spacious pitches Very modern toilet shower block Immaculately Clean Good laundry room and washing up / clothes washing area Only one minor comment water in general only just warm enough, especially for showers Staff attentive and friendly Bar / restaurant at the entrance to site Food very nice and great valve Pool closed at this time of year Beautiful beach and long promenade just outside site Mercadona carrefore and Aldi all close by Negotiating the narrow streets to access and leave the site is tricky enough and a one way system is now in place Definitely worth a visit

I don’t understand why you can’t book instead of having take a chance there might be a place when you turn up. When we did, you got the distinct feeling you were going to be fleeced. We were too at 54 euros a night! 11 euros for electricity for one night! We only stayed as we were very tired. You can’t even choose a free pitch because they won’t tell you, weirdly , which ones are available. All other campsite we’ve stayed at offer you options, if they are available. Felt very uncomfortable.

For some strange reason you are not able to book in advance. You just have take a chance , which is slightly off putting when your driving a 3.5 Ton , 7.3m motor home. We took the chance as the surrounding area is beautiful but we were very disappointed however we did stay the one night as we were tired. You get the feeling that the place is on the make. We asked if we could walk to look at the sites that were free as all the other sites we had visited had done so but were told no. Only in an area by the bins and services was offered and at 46 euros a night that included 11 euros a night for electricity! 11 euros ! When we went to check we noticed an area that seemed free with slightly bigger pitches. Yes , we could go there but that was 54 euros a night! After settling, we walked the camp and found a lot of empty spaces next to where other motor homes were paying only 18 euros a night ! All a bit weird really. It does have good facilities and good shop too. But it’s certainly not worth it.

This site was large and sprawling. The pool has been out of action for much of the year and although the facilities were adequate you had the feeling this was a work in progress. Located opposite the Playa Puntilla claimed to be the best beach in the area. There are good promenades along the beach. A 40 minute walk will take you to the ferry terminal which links directly to Cadiz. Walk in the opposite direction around the site and you are in the town

Excellent site situated directly overlooking a nice Sandy beach. Pitches are good but no hedges between each like other sites although there are plenty of trees and vegetation in the area. Facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Reception staff and team friendly. The shop was not open when we were there but they had a few essentials for sale in reception. There are a few places to eat within 5 minute walk of the site but the main area of town with numerous tapas bars, restaurants etc is a good 30 minute walk. The ferry to Cadiz is about 20 minutes walk and well worth doing especially the historic area. Climb to the top of the clock tower in the cathedral for amazing views of the city Jerez is also worth a visit. Didn’t see or use the pool so cannot comment on that. Would certainly recommend

They try to rip you of . Since you enter push you to book as long as they can , trying to make you think is no places when actually are plenty. Showers are cold , paying 8 euro only elettric and nothing would work . 8 euro to do the washing and clothes come same as you put them as they don’t put any liquid in it another way to make money out of you , and the laundry is dirty as well .. Is minutes walk away everything you need so you have to stress out if you need to do anything.

Great campsite right on the beach. Restaurant just at park entrance. Very nice food, nice atmosphere slightly high price. Good toilet blocks. Not much else to do!! Nice front to walk or cycle. Flat pitches mainly in sun but shady pitches available.

Stayed in a bungalow,very basic,needs refurbishment,however good bed and linen with good utensils,great for a family with kids. On site restaurant could be much more welcoming,however food good. Location near the beach. Quite difficult to find,but that might be the sat/ nav. Camping facilities looked good

No tengo palabras para describir la politica de cancelación de este camping . Hay que ser poco listo.... no para devolver el dinero de la reserva, que lo puedo llegar a entender, sino para no cambiar la fecha de la reserva, debido al mal tiempo. Espero que cambien dicha politica a partir de ahora. Aviso a próximos clientes NO RESERVEIS NUNCA EN ESTE CAMPING. Solo les importa vuestro dinero ( y el mio ) ... No les importa nada los clientes.
