De ligging is prachtig,maar de service is vreselijk! Voor alles moet bijbetaald worden. Witte bedjes op het strand kosten 35 euro, maar ook als je schaduw wilt, 35 euro. Al is het strand leeg, zonder bij te betalen mag je niet vooraan liggen of je betaald 35 euro pp Wil je met 8 aan tafel in beach bar mag niet! "Politicus" zeggen ze dan! Ook bedden bij elkaar zetten...niet toegestaan. Zwemmen in binnenbad ..35 euro pp En het ergste: we geven de auto mee voor valet parking (kost 26 per dag) en krijgen auto helemaal gedeukt terug! Ze weten van niks. Echt slechtste service ever, incapabel management en onvriendelijk personeel

Geweldige beleving geweest om op dit resort te verblijven, alles klopt, van ontvangst, inchecken, de prachtige kamers die van werkelijk alle gemakken zijn voorzien, het uitzicht over zee, prachtige binnenplaats aan het water, gewoon geweldig, kamers zeer luxe ingericht, en aan alles is gedacht, super schoon/hygiënisch! heerlijk ontbijt een verwennerij om de dag te beginnen,

Na ons vorige bezoek, ongeveer 8 jaar geleden, keken we ernaar uit om hier opnieuw te verblijven, in combinatie met een bezoek aan een paar in de buurt gelegen wijnhuizen. De combinatie van een paar uurtjes rust op het strand, lekker eten in de beide restaurants en een bezoek aan één van de vele wijnhuizen en steden in de buurt leek ons de ideale vakantie. Bij aankomst kregen we een aantal voorstellen van pakketten, die er de vorige keren niet waren: Oa een pakket met paddle boards, 30 minuten massage per dag, fietsverhuur, mini-bar en een strandstoel op de eerste 3 rijen, voor 28€ per persoon per dag. We kozen hier niet voor, omdat er voor de komende dagen geen goed weer werd voorspeld, en we dachten gewoon onze strandstoel en minibar te betalen als we hiervan gebruik zouden maken. De eerste 2 dagen was er inderdaad storm en regen, dus de strandstoelen waren niet nodig… Op de derde dag wilden we graag gebruik maken van de strandstoelen en hier uiteraard voor betalen, maar bij aankomst bleek dat we op de achterste rij zouden moeten liggen… Beetje bizar als je ziet dat de eerste rijen nog vrij zijn, en wij zeker willen betalen voor een mooie plaats… Waarom een fantàstisch hotel zijn gasten op deze manier teleurstelt, is mij een compleet raadsel, maar goed… het zal aan ons liggen…. Het goede gevoel dat wij de eerste dagen hadden, is hierbij helemaal gekeerd…

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Perfect location and great food. The view is amazing. The bedroom suites are fresh and tidy. Would definitely recommend and love to return. The hotel went above and beyond during our stay, Thank you very much.

It was a business cum tourist visit. We really had a memorable stay at Le Meridien in El Vendrell. The location is simply breath taking with the Ocean in the background. The hotel has many amenities that you can truly enjoy. All the receptionists at the desk were so helpful and super friendly especially two lovely ladies, Gift & Manuela, even the manager were always ready to help & accommodated us in the best possible way. The hotel has many amenities like a beautiful spa that also has huge therapeutic whirlpool, saunas & a steam sauna. There’s also a swimming pool on the top deck. Every morning you can enjoy a huge breakfast buffet with a large variety of hot & cold beverages & foods. However, there were not much hot options for vegetarians. With vegetarians growing, I hope they start having more vegetarian options at breakfast, lunch & dinner. If you’re looking for a good break to relax, this is the place to go. If you want to try out the local cuisine & international cuisines, there are several restaurants very close to the hotel that you can dine at. I also made a suggestion to the hotel to put up a gift shop for shopping lovers. The fun & scenic train ride to Barcelona is only an hour. Terrogona is another beautiful place close by, real worth visiting. It’s only about a half hour car or train ride from El Vendrell. Overall we really enjoy our visit to El Vendrell. I highly recommend you stay at Le Meridien. It’s a fun place to be at, as a couple or a family.

I wanted to thank all the team at Le Meridien Ra and more especially Eric from Explore Spa who made the stay of my family and I exceptional. Eric is a caring, dedicated person, available and who always has a communicative smile ! We visited this resort following a very port intensive cruise that ended in Barcelona. It was the perfect place to relax before heading home. Not only was the hotel able to accommodate our early revival, we were upgraded to a duplex suite with oceanfront balcony! The beach was sandy and umbrellas and chairs were readily available. The water was still warm enough to enjoy. We spent two afternoons relaxing in the sunshine at the beach. We walked along the beach front boardwalk to Calafell (less than 10 minutes) where there were a number of casual restaurants. On our last night, we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Restaurant D.O. at Le Meridian. Beautiful ambiance and great service made this dinner a perfect ending to our vacation. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, particularly setting up an early morning taxi to the airport on a national holiday. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel and would not hesitate to return on a future trip to the Barcelona area.

The day before our check-in we had to cancel our reservation due to medical reasons. 3 days later we could still start our stay. Hotel Le Meridien Ra was extremely flexible and concerned about our situation. Check-in and check-out dates were adjusted without any problems and without an additional charge, even though we had booked without a cancellation option. We particularly appreciate the efforts of manager Mr. Martin van Halteren for the warm welcome and hospitality and for arranging everything perfectly at such short notice. Her was taking care of everything so we could still enjoy a fantastic stay at Hotel Ra. Dear Mr. Martin, our special thanks and appreciation for your efforts. We decided to repeat our stay this year in the same property, and never regretted it. The main reason was the convenience of the location and property for vacationing with three children. Everything I said last year remains, the staff did go an extra mile to make us welcome and always giving attention to children in particular. Special thanks to the lady in charge of the beach/ the manager who made the kids feel entitled to cookies even when she wasn't around. This year we stayed in one of the residence apartments which turned to be cheaper then booking two separate rooms. We'll gladly repeat the experience.
