O café é MUITO FRACO!!! Só uma salada de frutas e sem outras opções de frutas. Bolos e biscoitos doces todos industrializados e sem sabor comprados baratinhos em mercados sem qualidade. Bolo de caixinha. Sempre as mesmas coisas que ninguém quis comer de dias anteriores. Só dois tipos de pães e sem gosto. Funcionárias perdidas e desanimadas. Mesmo antes da hora de fechar, os hóspedes tem q pedir para repor qualquer coisa, inclusive coisas básicas como guardanapos e talheres.
Funcionários da recepção simpáticos e atenciosos. Nos banheiros não há Box ou cortina, então alaga facilmente todo o banheiro. Sujeira pôr debaixo das camas. Secador de cabelo não funcionava.

The worse choice possible! They charged a quantity before my stay and simply was not considered to calculate the total value for my stay, I saw and talk to attendant and she delayed paying the bill until he spoke to the reservations depar**ent, who had actually made another serious error that he never acknowledged! The wi-fi simply do not work. To conclude the irritating and outrageous oddities of this place, although breakfast is included, it is terrible, bread seems old, few options and if you want, for example, eggs you have to pay an additional amount!!!! If you can, stay away!!!!

We stayed at Las Dunas Hotel after trekking in Torres del Paine. The building itself could use a little upkeep, but the friendly staff and attentive service make up for it. While about 7 minutes away by car or 30 minute walk along the waterfront from the town centre, is literally steps away from the shores of Lago Argentino. The majority of the rooms have a view of the lake, the islands in it and the mountains behind it. There’s also a nearby trail where once can discover the flora and fauna. The massage was also a nice post-trek service that they provide, but must be booked the day before.

The hotel was comfortable enough, clean but a bit tired looking. Breakfast was served in miniature sizes (shot glass glasses for juice) and you had to pay extra for eggs (everywhere else in Argentina they were free).

Let's start with saying that this hotel is good value for money and the views over Lago Argentino are great. The location allows you to walk to the town center in 35 to 40 minutes, but a taxi only cost 2000 ARS.
The rooms are a nice size. Ours had an extra 1 person bed, but some also have a sitting corner. Unfortunately we didn't get one of the rooms with balcony, although the strong prevailing winds probably would lessen the use. The bathroom was also a good size. Unfortunately there is no shower curtain, only a small piece of glass.The result was water all over the floor. The breakfast buffet is very good. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening. There is a bar, but you have to ask at the reception for staff to come up there. We used the laundry service, which is relatively cheap, but our clothes came back smelling as if they had been left to dry in the kitchen. We made use of the massage service, again very good value for money.
Overall, we had some communication issues but we enjoyed our stay and in the end that is what counts

Where do we start? The views from every room are spectacular, the food, breakfast and dinner are all amazing, but the most amazing part about Las Dunas is the staff. We felt like family for the time we stayed at the hotel. Nicolás and the whole team were amazing, they helped in every way to make our trip to El Calafate the highlight of our entire South American adventure. Highly, highly recommend.

Unusual property. Wrong location, wrong design. Food and wine was poor. Staffing and security were minimal. Great location if you want to be isolated.
