Destiny Scotland - Q-Residence

Difficult to check in,the door bell sound is small while the traffic on the nearby road is super busy.Rooms a lil bit cold but everything else very perfect.

Have used destiny scotland appts for a few years now, we thoroughly recommend, beats hotels hands down, very comfortable and spacious. These appts have been finished to an extremely high spec, and the team managing the appts are always on hand.

Horrible from day 1, there is no parking available, the place is far from 4 star, and the communication from the staff just not nice, no mention of renovation work been carried out from 8am until 5:30pm neither. I’m sure there’s much nicer genuine places to stay as appose to this one.

Absolutely beautiful property in the new town of Edinburgh. Walking distance to everything! So spacious - really made our family trip amaing. Will definitely return.

Huge apartment, lovely decor and good amenities provided. We didn’t use the living room because the windows are single glazed and the noise from the road was too loud. The bedroom was on the back which was good but there was a lot of noise during the night from drunk people and glass being thrown in the recycling. There was a weird high pitched noise in the cupboard next to the bathroom every time we used the water, sometimes even when we didn’t. Really weird and annoying as it went on in the night sometimes. Bed needs replacing as it felt like it was going to fall apart at any minute. Toilet paper was the cheapest you could buy. Disappointing because it’s such a lovely property and maybe it’s listed so double glazing isn’t an option but I’m sure something could be done to rectify the issues we faced.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed in this building & I’d definitely come back again. Great communication from the company & apartment is well kept & comfortable. Good location also.

Spacious enough for my family group travel of six. It was a comfortable stay. Convenience location with shops and Edinburgh Castle lots of sight seeing spots are within around 10 walking distance.

Great location if you plan to sightsee the city. I found the aesthetic of the place very charming, however, there were few things that stood out to me: 1. The minute you walk in there was a big stain on the carpet (in the entrance corridor), 2. The mattress of the sofa bed was extra thin and uncomfortable and had some brown stains, 3. The apt is in ground floor so if you sleep in sofa bed you can hear everything that happens in the street late at night (drunks walking by, garbage truck, car zooming by, and neighbors arriving late to their apt), 4. At night when people upstairs walk you can hear the chandelier in the living room shakes which makes me uncomfortable not only for the noise but also because I felt that at any moment it would fall down my face and 5. There is an annoying pump hidden in the entrance closet that runs at times at night, if you have a light sleep surely it will wake you up. Different from other reviews, the apt was overall okay and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

We looooooved this property! Everything was amazing! Extremely clean, cozy beds and linen, a washing machine and dryer, front and back patio's, extremely spacious, AND close to everything! It was everything we wanted, and it still exceeded our expectations. I will absolutely stay here again! Something to keep in mind, if you have mobility issues, entry to the three bedroom unit requires you to descend a flight of stairs - but there is a sturdy handrail. Stay here! You will NOT be disappointed!
