Kamer en badkamer waren klein maar functioneel. Ligging op 10 minuten lopen van Princess street. 8 kamers in het hotel, bar was helaas in de avond dicht. Voor te slapen prima. Vraag om gratis parkeerplaatsen, ze weten waar je hem kan neerzetten op 5 minuten lopen.

maandag 29 augustus arriveerden wij in het hotel. De kamer was mooi en redelijk schoon. We hadden betaald inclusief ontbijt, zelfs een bewijs ervan. Echter de manager van het hotel was ronduit onbeschoft en zei dat boekingen nooit met ontbijt waren. We konden voor 12,5 pond per persoon per ontbijt bijboeken, dat hebben we niet gedaan. De 2e dag was onze kamer niet schoon gemaakt. toen ik ging vragen voor schone handdoeken werd de manager heel agressief! We waren volgens hem hele moeilijke klanten. We moesten duidelijk aangeven of wij onze kamer verschoond wilden hebben. Vervolgens hebben we dat de rest van het verblijf gedaan. Het schoonmaken van de kamer bestond alleen maar uit het opmaken van het bed. De badkamer is de hele week niet schoon gemaakt en de laatste 3 dagen hebben we zelfs geen schone handdoeken gehad! Ook was er een lamp stuk op de badkamer en in de kamer. Hier hebben we melding van gemaakt. Echter er is niets gerepareerd. We hebben 174 euro per nacht betaald. Ze hadden een mooie bar en zitgelegenheid. Echter er zat nooit iemand. Ook was er geen noodnummer beschikbaar ingeval van een calamiteit. Na het ontbijt was er niemand van het personeel in het hotel aanwezig.

Feels more like a bedsit than a hotel. Arrived to a locked door (after stating arrival time). Looks lovely from the outside and bar area looks great but no sign of staff at all. Room was a ‘deluxe’ double. Nothing ‘deluxe’ about it. Mish mash of different furniture, whole in the wall and small bathroom with handles missing from unit. Good location but for the money I’d go elsewhere.

For the price this place really isn't great. Small room, small bed generally a bit tired. We had ripped towels and dangerous iron that had failed its PAT test 2 years aga. There was no-one on reception when we arrived, had to call a number that wasn't answered, in the end a kid went to find someone to let us in. I wouldn't class as a hotel, really should be advertised a guest house on B&B. On the positive side, the location is great, building is beautiful, and the staff seemed nice.

The room was really nicely decorated and really modern with a comfy clean bed and good quality towels. Really well renovated and super clean. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The location is perfect a short 5 minutes walk from the Haymarket tram stop and with some really nice cafes in proximity plus a lovely bar at the hotel itself. We will definitely be back!

Small quirky boutique hotel, close to the city centre. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. We had a lovely big room and bathroom on the 2nd floor. The shower wasn't great but no big deal as we were only there for one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was irritating is that we were offered tea on our arrival and given the impression it was complimentary - when we went to check out, we were told that there was a charge for it. A small thing but considering the hotel was pricey for what you were getting, it leaves a poor impression when you are leaving especially as there's very little atmosphere in the hotel.

Beautifully appointed hotel, clean room and facilities, lovely staff including our dear friend Maneesh the owner. We stayed for two nights and used the hotel as a base for our family catch up. We are sad we didn’t have a drink at the beautiful bar! We were too busy in town, a comfortable ten minute walk away. Hope to return again and only one issue of low water pressure in our shower. Owner reassures us, this is in hand… Ate out in town, so didn’t pay the £15 extra for breakfast each day. Website/ Booking sites need updating re this price. We can’t fault the warm welcome, kindness and the character of this beautiful hotel and it is value for money.

Very clean hotel in a good location. Staff are friendly. The only reason I would avoid this hotel in future is because the many rooms face a tennis court where children play very loudly and this was disruptive. Not the fault of the hotel at all and if you aren’t noise sensitive then you’ll be fine. Otherwise this is a very nice hotel. Oh, and don’t book if you’re disabled as there’s no lift.
