Lovely hotel, staff friendly, restaurant exceptional.
Room clean with good facilities but very small with sliding door between the bed and bathroom which didn’t quite cover the gap and was broken so was swinging. Also walls very thin could hear everything !

We stayed at this establishment on a self-guided bicycle tour of the Bordeaux area. Hands down the best meals of our trip (two dinners, two breakfasts) as well as friendly and helpful service from the proprietors. Our room was clean; two windows with a view of the Chateau! Safe storage for our bicycles. The dining terrace was spacious and beautiful. There's a pool too, although we did not get a chance to use it. The village of Duras is fun to explore. Again, though, the real prize here is the amicability and generosity of the hosts.

Hostellerie des Ducs is an extraordinary place, managed by extraordinarily kind and generous people. The cuisine is out of this world and deserves stars and praises. I could not recommend it more highly. I travel a lot but this kind of hospitality is so above and beyond it’s worth writing and raving about. Thank you!

The hotel was very nice, but the room extremely small. The bed was comfortable but small, maybe a double? Everything was very clean including the bathroom. Breakfast was awesome, breads, jams, egg, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and more. Very peaceful, great walking for the town of Duras.
We also had dinner, duck, and tuna. It was good but duck could have been more tender and tuna was a bit dry.

Accueil très contestable dans cet hôtel. Les sourires y sont surement payants. J'ai passé deux nuits infernales car l'appareil de climatisation faisait du bruit en permanence, même éteint. Je l'ai signalé après la première nuit et rien n'a été proposé pour me permettre de dormir correctement lors de la deuxième. Ni une autre chambre, ni une réparation en urgence, ni un tarif réduit lors de mon départ. J'ai tout simplement payé plein tarif une chambre pour mal y dormir. Vu les tarifs, c'est tout bonnement inacceptable.

Très beau cadre, belle demeure, bien situé avec parking privé, à 2 pas du château et du centre ville Bel accueil, belle chambre même si un peu petite mais tout y est ( peignoir, gel douche, savon, mouchoirs...), bon confort. Belle piscine avec transat dans un beau jardin. Je vous conseille le restaurant de l'hôtel : très bonne table! Bon petit déjeuner en buffet copieux et tout semble frais. Adresse à recommander
