Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Duluth North, MN

It was nice, I was disappointed how cold the pool was. Two out of the three of us barely stayed in ( the pool was the main reason we came.)

Liked the water slide but disliked that the hot tub was down and looked a very disgusting color. Front desk attendant was rude. Found empty pop cans behind fridge. Children were allowed to run down the halls at night knocking on doors then running away.

Stay was ok. For the price I was surprised that it wasnt more clean, the hot tub was broken and trying to relax and watch a movie before bed wasn’t very easy with delayed and older tvs/minimally functioning cable. will never pay $200 to stay there again.

This may be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. At check-in there were about 50 people (including children). Check in is at 3:00. They told a majority of people in line to check in that their specific room was not ready and she said to each of them that she just spoke to the housekeeping manager and told each person it would be ready in 10-20 minutes. I was standing close and started really paying attention once I realized she told everyone the same thing without leaving the desk to talk to the housekeeping manager one time. After waiting over a hour and a half after check-in she said our room was ready. The room was half cleaned with moldy Chipotle in the refrigerator. After reporting these issues to 3 different staff members including the manager they all said it’s not their fault that the hotel is full. At breakfast, everything was empty. Again, they said it would be replenished in 15 minutes every time someone asked. After 45 minutes of never being replenished we left. Once more they said it’s not their fault. This hotel is independently owned and appears to have a severe lack of management, customer service, organization and most of all lack of any responsibility for anything. If this was the last hotel available in Duluth I would suggest going another date and staying at another hotel.

Our bedsheets were not changed or they were not checked, they had blood stains on them from someone else! Staff was friendly and appolgized and changed our bedding. They said the manager would give me a call, I'm waiting to hear back from them.

we have stayed here in the past. this trip was horrible.. No working hot tub without notice, waterside was off and the hotel floors were disgusting!

The restaurant next door was nice being so close. Food was great and service. The hotel is nice also. Not much in pool area but was great also. One big slide, kids had fun either way. A small kid pool with sprinkler was nice and a decent size pool. Hot tub was down but not the end of the world. Overall pretty decent place.

Really good check-in process. Very friendly front desk staff (Payton), seamless transaction and some extra cookies. Property was clean but could use a couple updates. Rooms were what you would expect from a place that has a lot of guests with kids. Couple areas could use some deep cleaning in the rooms and some furniture updating but overall the room condition was good and quite spacious. Beds were comfy, water was hot and good basic amenities. Free breakfast was great and the pool area with small water slide was a blast for my 5 year olds and the 13 year olds were able to enjoy it too even though the pool was a little smaller. Having stayed at many a water park or hotel with water facilities this place was awesome. Overall had a really enjoyable stay. If you don’t mind some dusty corners or some water damage in the corners near the tubs (which my family could care less) then I think you’ll have a fun time here at an affordable price. Hot tub was down during our stay, which they told us about at check-in, had that been up and running it would have been icing on the cake! Definitely recommend and have already talked about staying in the future. Easy 10-12 minute drive to downtown Duluth.

Hot tub was not working during our stay. The water slide was great along with location. Breakfast had many great options.
