We booked this on short notice. We were staying at Western Plains Taronga Zoofari and didn't get to explore things like the Dubbo gaol in town, so we decided to add a night. As 40 year veterans of the Hospitality industry, my wife behind the bar and me usually in front of it, we had a very good idea of what we were getting into. We stayed on a Friday night, and a quick check of the socials we saw that a DJ show was scheduled for that night, but we heard pretty much just muffled sound, nothing to disturb us. Space was tight, It was clean where it counts, Aircon filter could of used a bit of attention, walls and carpet had a bit of a tale to tell, but to me it is nice to know if you accidentally add a sentence to the story - downstairs ain't gunna sweat too much, as always adding a paragraph or chapter you will be looking for trouble but... Talking about downstairs- the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was awesome. The position is also awesome really central, just make sure you take advantage of the car park if you have booked, the council parking police are very diligent in their enforcement of the one hour limit for street parking. One last thing. Amaroo- add toilet brushes to the bathroom. After the bistro had shut, I had a craving for a hot chilli Kebab, went a couple of doors down and got one. Next morning - in the immortal words of the 12th man Billy Birmingham, I damaged the Doulton quite a bit. We did make a big effort to clean it brushless with a lot of flushing, but apologies to the person that ended up with the job of cleaning it.
