Like location and being close to fair grounds, race track and arena.
Wish the lighting in the rooms was better. Bathroom light was flickering.

I booked here to be close to the DuQuoin State Fair. I loved the hotel, the service, the check in (had to change room types), the parking, the location, the pool. Be aware they do not provide daily housekeeping, as do most all hotels post-covid. The only minor complaint, and it very minor, is the breakfast. Biscuits were tuff like microwaved and gravy was cold. But the waffles made up for it.

Front desk associate was helpful and friendly at check-in. We stayed here to attend the fair which was an easy walk. Would stay here again for the fair.

Our stay at the Fairgrounds Inn was wonderful. The place was clean. It was quiet. The staff we encountered were friendly. We will stay there again when in DuQuion.

The pool looked ok, was very disappointed with the ant problem and the lack any eggs or bacon at breakfast was a very underwhelming. The grooming of the property and rooms was sub par for the business we give yearly to the fairgrounds inn.

Be sure to pack kleenex and a container to use for ice. Breakfast buffet was not very good as carryout. Otherwise clean and would not hesitate to return there.
