Logis Auberge Bienvenue

Hotel is above average. Room was nice but could do with a fridge and complimentary water. We had a front room which was a bit noisy with the traffic. Leaving this aside its a nice hotel with fantastic grounds, swimming pool and jacuzzi.. The staff are excellent and friendly. The hotel also offers a Private secure carpark. I don’t often think that restaurants I visit are worthy of a recommendation as I am always critical when I pay good money to eat mediocre rubbish food that I can do better with my eyes shut. You know what I mean. Well I recommend that you must eat here. We had the set menu and the meal was excellent. I mean really good and delicious. Everything prepared cooked and presented perfectly. This was the last night of our holiday and it certainly made up for all those terrible meals we had experienced over the previous days. I Highly recommend this place

We first visited the Auberge Bienvenue four years ago while visiting the Saumur region to buy a home. The welcome we received from the owners and their team was excellent and is every time we visit , The rooms are comfortable , quiet , spacious and air conditioned a must in the late spring and summer months , and the spa provides a spot for relaxation next to the quiet garden, The restaurant is truly a gem , the cooking is always of the highest standard with carefully selected menus and dishes using fresh local produce and an excellent wine list complements the food which is expertly presented and served by the team, Another bonus is that the menus represent excellent value for cooking of this standard, The hotel has secure car parking and Tesla electric charging points, The location ;makes it ideal for visiting the Bio Parc ,a natural zoo interesting for adults and children ,There are a number of other interesting archaeological sites close by ,,,or of course you can go wine tasting along the Loire valley wine trail,

Much wanted return after the recent pandemic. Madame Roche charming as ever and with Paul successfully survived a tough period of closure due to Covid. Rooms lovely as ever although the garden area needs a little TLC as more overgrown as trees mature making rooms darker than usual. The restaurant was busy and food excellent as always. However this time special mention of her new staff …..two delightful young girls who were personable and clearly very well trained and the sommelier, a young man recently settled in France …..all were engaging and a credit to Madame who oversees the floor with calme and precision. The Auberge is reasonably priced for rooms but dinner with wine on the pricey side but lots of choice including a substantial vegetarian selection. A downside is breakfast. H lice very restrict and frankly expensive. Outside the hotel three minutes drive is a huge supermache with an excellent restaurant plus if needed a McDonalds! Also cheap fuel. Consider a visit to the Bio Parc zoo although during this visit light on animals but setting super! Great couple of day three hours from the ferry ….awaiting our next visit ….book direct for best prices!

It was our first return in over 2 years (because of Covid restrictions) and we wondered whether we would find much to have changed at Auberge Bienvenue. The kettle & tea-making tray had gone and some of the decor of the bedroom looked "tired" and in need of redecoration but recognising the difficulties the hospitality trade have experienced we were very happy with the standard. The restaurant was immaculate as usual and the food superb. Unfortunately Covid restrictions have meant that the breakfast is no longer buffet-style but a plate of bread and patisseries brought to the table.

Situé dans un carrefour, j’avais peur que ce soit bruyant et bien non, car celle-ci est peu passante. Un accueil chaleureux, des chambres spacieuses, une literie confortable et un buffet petit déjeuner complet avec des produits frais. Pour 89€ il c’est une très belle adresse (parking privé inclus et possibilité de recharger sur 3 bornes Tesla)!

Un établissement qui devient de plus en plus rare à trouver. Des hôtes sympathiques, un personnel dévoué, souriant et actif. Le rapport humain est privilégié, on se met en quatre pour vous donner satisfaction, au plus vite. Nous étions venus pour une fête de famille aux environs et n'avions pas prêté particulièrement attention à l'aspect restauration. C'est donc avec un très grand plaisir que nous avons découvert cette table et son chef, qui justifieraient le déplacement à eux seuls... visite trop rapide, heureusement complétée par une visite du Bio Parc, là aussi très intéressante. Bravo et merci, Monsieur et Madame Roche, d'avoir cette passion de la tradition d'accueil à la française. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr...

Hotel très agréable, chambre confortable, avec une piscine et un spa, restaurant excellent, à proximité immédiate du Bioparc. Accueil très agréable et attentionné. Nous recommandons ! Nous reviendrons !

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter le bioparc. La chambre est grande, propre, la literie confortable et de qualité. Petit plus : des bornes de recharge pour véhicule électrique sur le parking sécurisé. La directrice est attentive au bien être de ses clients. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et très bien mangé à la table du restaurant.

Accueil chaleureux et cuisine très plaisante, le service agréable, la chambre spacieuse et la literie très confortable. Piscine intérieure avec jacuzzi très bien chauffés en octobre. Nous recommandons.
