het hotel ligt zeer centraal in het hartje van Dijon, goed bereikbaar met alle vervoer, parkeerplaatsen best te reserveren, ook het restaurant best reserveren, het hotel is een wirwar van oude gebouwen, doorgangen, deuren, binnenkoertjes en verschillende gebouwen, wat natuurlijk zijn charme heeft, geen lift maar zeer behulpzame receptioniste, kamers zijn zeer kosi, aan de kleine kant maar gerieflijk, eten super lekker, ook ontbijt zeer correct en compleet, aanrader voor wie eens wat anders wenst dan bv een Mercure/Novotel/M Gallery

We verbleven 1 nacht in dit hotel op onze terugreis naar huis. De kamer is voorzien van het nodig comfort, ze voorzien je ook van gratis water, thee, koffie, frisdrank en een biertje alsook nog een aperoplankje voorzien. Kamer misschien wat beter afwerken, maar heeft ons niet gestoord. Het hotel is perfect gelegen om de stad te verkennen. Er is een openbare parking pal naast het hotel of je kan vragen naar een privéparking aan het hotel zelf (afhankelijk van beschikbare plaatsen) Het ontbijt buffet was zeer verzorgd, ruime keuze! Top! Het hotel beschikt ook over een bar, op een gezellige binnenplaats kan je een drankje nuttigen, alsook hebben ze een restaurant, la closerie! Fantastisch gegeten!!! Bedankt!

We were only stopping overnight on our way to Cannes, but what a find, this hotel is luxurious with a real old meets new feel. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was stunning, and equally tasty and of excellent value was the breakfast. Please don’t overlook this hotel. We are fussy travellers, and would return for sure.

We stayed overnight on our drive from the UK to Provence. Dijon was cold, about -2C outside, and the heating in our room came from one small electric heater. The temperature inside was 12C. We were on the second floor (third floor for Americans) and the elevator was broken. There was no heating in the bathroom so we couldn't shower. I rang reception and was moved to the room across the hallway which had a larger single heater. The room was large, maybe 300 square feet. We found a second duvet in the closet and put it on top of the bed to keep warm. We think they should have closed this part of the hotel if both the elevator and the heating was substandard/non existent. A French couple also complained to reception about the lack of heat. Sad because the location is great, there is an underground carpark across the way, and the restaurant is excellent.

The TV was not working (no chrome cast), and the shower was not as advertised. It was basically a bathtub with a handheld nozzle you had to hold above your head. They gave us 10% off our bill for the broken TV (they also offered to move us to the next room), but this basically just covered the cost of breakfast (not included).

It was very close to all of the areas attractions. Staff was helpful and nice.
We wish the restaurant was open when we were there.

This is such an old historical hotel that has been tastefully and beautifully updated so that the rooms and facilities are top-notch. Beautiful inner courtyard that is used for cocktails was wonderful! Restaurant was wonderful and breakfast was perfect. Staff will do whatever is necessary to make you comfortable. Loved this hotel!
