The pictures were so promising, the actual property is just next level. Welcomed by Jane, the host, we immediately felt at home. We would not have changed a single object there, nor in the common area. Fully in line with our personal tastes. We found out later that Jane’s husband, a designer, was behind the the set-up. Not a surprise at all. In addition to a yummy breakfast, that pas planned, we ended up having a dinner and a late lunch. Both prepared by a super ayi. So tasty and genuine. We spend a couple of hours in the adjacent bamboo forest. Crispy air, unique light, insane calm (the whole area is so quiet). We will definitely come back. When weather will allow the use of the welcoming swimming pool. Thanks Jane! And please thank ayi on our behalf for the yummy meals.

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Laat de dagelijkse triviale zaken de passie en romantiek van het leven niet overstemmen. Maak een uitstapje tijdens het zomerweekend. Kwam weer naar Shangpo en het was zo goed als altijd! ! ! Omringd door bergen, vol groen, rustig en privé. Hier voelt u de service van een professioneel team. Elk detail wordt ruim voor het inchecken gecommuniceerd. Er zijn ook veel eetgelegenheden, waaronder eenvoudige maaltijden, westerse gerechten en Chinese gerechten foto's maken 😋. Ik kijk ernaar uit om in een ander seizoen terug te komen om de verschillende schoonheid van Shangpo te ervaren~🥰🌸🍷🍻

Wow! Deze plek was echt een goede keuze die we gemaakt bij het boeken op ctrip, de plaats decoratie is super mooi en modern , is ook in een zeer rustige zone dicht bij een kleed en bamboe bos rondom , super rustig en mooi . Het personeel was buiten vriendelijk, opmerkzaam en professioneel , ze maakten ons voelbaar thuis . En de voedsel omg was geweldig, de keuken was Chinees, maar niet normaal Chinees, het was een plaatselijke stijl, maar super natuurlijk, alles smaakt super fris en net als ze de ingrediënten van hun boerderij gebruikten. Ik adviseer dit huis zeer aan mensen die een gateway van de grote stad zoeken, hier is alles wat je verwacht van moganshan maar beter omdat de kamers waren beter dat in mijn eigen huis lol, internet werkte perfect, ook de douche en tv alles perfect. We kwamen met treinen van Deqing en ze helpen ons de bestuurder te organiseren om ons op te halen , zeer aanbevelen deze plek !

Our stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages. There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special. Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences.

This is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night. I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.

Good for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics. The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool. At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all. The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there. As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

擁有非常漂亮、古典的圖書館，和非常和善、幽默的老闆。圖書館藏書豐富，輕音樂伴隨耳邊，燈光温和。還有書法和漢服體驗，但可惜時間太趕沒有試一試。住的房間有地暖、空調，地面開起來非常舒適。寵物友好（可以接受帶貓咪）。 非常感謝，祝生意興隆，春日勝意！

Everything including kind staffs is good except internet speed. Not able to connect social media through hotel wi-fi. It was very bad experience and uncomfortable while I stayed. Not able to again if no improvement of this.

Tucked up a mountain, perfect if you don’t want to venture too far out. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating- cooking food for us when we arrived, ordering in drinks, arranging cars to head into town. The rooms are a little rough around the edges - they could do with a thorough repaint perhaps, but they were clean enough. Great communal area to socialise with friends and great food too
