This is a beautiful historic hotel with outstanding service. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the service was top notch. I'd highly recommend it.

Grand and elegant, it's beauty as a facility is unmatched. The service in the bars and restaurants was slow and inefficient, a sign of lack of training and managerial ineffectiveness.
The cigar bar closes at 11, but they stop serving at 10? Are you kidding? The room was comfortable and clean and had nice amenities but...
1. Apparently the walls are paper thin as my neighbor pounded on the wall to turn my TV off at 11pm
2. A horrible, swamp gas smell was in the bathroom, engineering and housekeeping has to come and address it.

Great place to stay! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and in a great area with several restaurants within walking distance which were all good! The spa was excellent and I had a wonderful experience getting a massage and relaxing in the steam room!

Did not enjoy stay at all. Hotel room, dusty room that flared my allergies; shower heads pressure and temperature not working properly; bed was uncomfortable,heater was not working properly and we ended up leaving early 5am due to it being so cold in room, no light in entrance; remote on TV did not work properly.
Check-in and door man was friendly. Liked the historical relevance to Denver
We saw lot of amateurish patchwork fixes throughout the building.
I would not recommend staying here until it's remodeled or improved drastically.

Booked the nicest suite available. Sheets were dirty, the thermostat was taped together, and there were bugs in the bed.

A Beautiful historic hotel. This hotel definitely isn’t new but it didn’t feel ran down. It’s been well maintained throughout the years. We enjoyed both bars and spa. We also participated in the “high tea”($$$) activity in the grand atrium. I chose to park my vehicle in a parking garage 2 blocks away and saved big $ by doing so. We will be back again someday.

The hotel was amazing. The stay was peaceful and quiet and exactly what we needed. Only complaint was that when we got to our room, a part of the carpet in front of the mini fridge was wet and kept on stepping in it with every pair of socks that I switched to throughout the night and next day. Other than that, it was great.

Hotel in bad need of a remodel. Many things don’t work in the rooms had a faucet leaking the entire time maintenance said they couldn’t fix it they didn’t have a valve. Another example the room keys stopped working after the first day, and they stopped working again after the second day no one seems to have a reason why. The telephone in the room not only didn’t work, iIt wasn’t even connected. No wires no phone lines. Ask them to fix it three times never happened. Very disappointed. Staff is polite but doesn’t care and certainly can’t fix anything. Highlight was high tea. Will never stay here again.

Rooms are falling apart. Place needs to be gutted and remodeled. Paint literally falling off the walls; furniture is beat up; no electrical receptacles to be found; 1st room had broken A/C, dead phone, and half the lights didn’t work. I asked for it to be fixed or move me to a different room. They gave me a much smaller and equally crappy room. Then they moved me to another room that was clearly a downgrade. The fourth room is still a downgrade, but at least the lights work. I would recommend that all members of my family and all of my friends avoid this hotel. The Kimpton Hotel Monaco, where I stayed two weeks ago, was far better and has a much better restaurant.
