Had a very good sleep. Very friendly staff and helpful for other amenities due to the place being shut on a Monday. If had known before cancellation time I would have gone somewhere else.

The staff were good and very helpful the room was very clean and a good size the bar area was really good and the staff were happy to have a drink with you and make you feel at home

Nice pub and accommodation but they do not serve food so make sure you eat before you get there.

Stay was lovely, just some odd elements which were a bit strange! Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. Shower was also dirty with soap scum - black mould on the grouting which disappeared with one wipe of the thumb so it clearly could all go with one wipe round with a cloth. Irrespective definitely a nice place, would consider returning with the bove in mind! :)

Lovely little country pub in a quiet village. Pub not currently open on Mondays, but owners live locally and open up rooms for guests.

Having been coming to the Bart on and off over the years I must say what a transformation the new tenants have made. Clean floors, new chairs and tables and lovely outside furniture. Katie and Jamie are the new hosts both very welcoming and attentive. Local Towcester Mill beers are stocked which I prefer to the usual National chain beers. Well done, will definitely pay another visit.
