I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, for these reasons: 1). It is 1 hour 30 mins from Dali Old Town where all the fun things to do are 2). The service was really bad (it took about an hour to check-in as they weren’t used to checking in foreigners) and when we were out they said they couldn’t clean our room as they didn’t have a spare key 3). There was a GHEKO living in my room 4). The swimming pool was dirty, a health hazard and unfit to swim in 5). My room was damp and the paint was falling off the walls 6). The breakfast was a Chinese set meal, with no choice and no western options. There was no coffee…only instant sachets. However, the staff themselves were really lovely and kind but the hotel itself was not up to standard. I think this place has a lot of potential but improvements need to be made. I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt I needed to this time so that others don’t face the same experience as me and my friend did.

Location is by the roadside on the east side of the lake. It’s convenient but it’s far from downtown (45mins drive) as that is in the west side of the lake. The staff are helpful and try to help however they can. They don’t speak English but wechat and translator help (manage expectations). The rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic Chinese. There’s a pool for kids (not deep enough) and a lounge area with a view. If you like a quite place away from the city, then this is a good place to stay. But if you want convenience, be aware that didi/taxi is scarce, and attractions are far. There’s a restaurant next door.

This was the perfect place to get away from the busy city life and just enjoy the pool and beautiful sunsets. Our room was stunning and the service was excellent.

A delightful hotel with lots of little nooks and crannies to take some wonderfully arty photos. The view from the pool is spectacular! Service was exemplary and really friendly and personable. Really relaxing stay. The room itself was right next to the pool and there was a private seating area outside the room along with public seating next to the pool. Toiletries were great and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel provided breakfast of noodles plus a variety of different side dishes. Unlimited free coffee and water as well as a late night snack. All very tasty. I would highly recommend this place.

Staff is helpful

酒店服務非常好，到酒店會送水果拼盤，早飯超時了也可以提前讓管家留好，毛巾都有烘乾架，拖鞋也有消毒並且袋子封裝好的，很乾凈很舒適的酒店。訂的海景房，躺在床上就可以看見洱海，住這個酒店也很安全，酒店大門都會有專人看着。

位置很好就在洱海邊上，開窗就能看到洱海了，周邊景色很好也有很多打開拍照的地方。打車也方便，民宿的工作人員很熱心負責，晚上還準備了暖心牛奶甜酒，早餐也非常豐盛，強烈推薦來海東的小夥伴們住他們家。

房型不錯的，就是在海東文筆村地理位置偏了一點（兩天基本都在海西玩，打車費用有點小貴），優點是人少環境清幽，適合長期居住。很喜歡5樓露台的大樹，在躺椅上休息聞着不知名大樹散發出來的清香混合著洱海的浪花聲感覺記憶像回到了小時候，會有一種莫名的感動和喜悦。 4樓還有個觀景平台反射天空洱海的倒影，天氣好的時候也超美～很出片，推薦🤩 民宿早餐很豐盛和美味（作為早起長者都要為了早點起來的程度）。 管家服務很負責，會有接機服務，有需求也及時反饋，和同伴一起4個人有專門拉小羣關照我們的需求（充電器忘拿回家了也及時順豐幫我寄了😭😭），服務態度一級棒～ 下午茶有水果和瓜子點心啥的也很豐盛，晚上還有牛奶/糖水關懷，很貼心。最後美中不足的是晚上燈光比較昏暗（房間和酒店都是），大床房房間沒有衣帽間，這兩點可以改進一下～
