De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk, wat mijn eerste indruk zeer positief maakte. De kamer was ruim en er was een massagestoel, waardoor ik heerlijk kon ontspannen. Het was een schone en betaalbare accommodatie.

Accommodatie introductie Empathy Dongseongro Guesthouse is gunstig gelegen op 200 m van het metrostation Jungangro (Daegu-lijn 1). Het biedt gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een dakterras met uitzicht op de stad. Alle kamers van het hostel zijn voorzien van airconditioning en stapelbedden. Badkamer- en toiletfaciliteiten worden gedeeld. Het hostel heeft ook een gemeenschappelijke keuken en een gemeenschappelijke lounge. Het KTX-station Dongdaegu ligt op 15 minuten met de metro in oostelijke richting vanaf het hostel E-World en het Duryu Bassball Stadium kan in westelijke richting worden bereikt. Empathy Dongseongro Guesthouse ligt op 30 minuten rijden van Daegue The Arc. Als u vroeg wilt uitchecken, dient u de gebruikte badhanddoeken, kussenslopen, lakens en sleutels zelf in de box te doen.

The front desk brother is very kind, there is no socket adapter, borrowed two chargers, explain how the air conditioner is operated on the remote control, check out time 15:00, the accommodation is convenient, the price is affordable, next time you come to Daegu the first choice!

While it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

컴퓨터가 아예 켜지지 않았다. 밤에 잘 땐 꽤 추웠는데 온도 조절할 방법이 없었다. 2박했는데 면도기를 청소하며 치워버렸다. 아쉽
