The room was very old and not that much space for a family room at all. There was also no main door to the bathrooms which was weird for a family room. When we entered the room, we could smell the musty woody smells coming out. It was good that hotel might be aware of this often smell so they arranged the air-purifier in the room when we checked in. However, the total experience here was terrible. we firstly reached the Toc Tien station thinking that we could get a hotel cable right after we checked in at the station, however, the front desk agent told us to follow the bell man to another station without any explanation and made us go up to the cable car among a thousand of tourists over there. Ever worse that the station was dropping off at the golden bridge station which we had to carry our big luggage through those amount of people and went to another connected cable line to go to the hotel. When we reached the hotel, I asked front desk agent about the cable car, she said that since we reached here too early which the hotel cable car at Toc Tien Station was not open yet (we reached at around 9:30am.) thats why the bellman had to bring us to another station which had a thousand of people. I dont know why they didn’t explain us at the first place and we couldn’t find any announcement about the station opening hours at all? Secondly, we kept our luggage at the store and went out at Bana Hills, we came back at around 19:00hrs. The lady from front desk didn’t even escort us to the room but let ‘security guard’ bright us there. We received the breakfast coupons from the lady but we didn’t know that it had to show at the restaurant too. She didn’t even tell us the restaurant name or the directions to go there which made us even confused in the morning. Thirdly, when we were in the room, we called to ask for more bottles of water since we were 4 people and we got 1 bottle per person which basically not enough for a human being, but the operator lady told us that it will be charged for 52,000 dong per bottle which was incredible non-sense for a 4 star Mercure brand. Fourthly, we asked the front dest lady at night about the station that will take the guests directly to the Golden bridge in the morning at 6:15hrs. If the station will be opened or not since we noticed that there was a sign of temporary closed. The lady said YES we could come here at 6.15 and go to the Golden Bridge at this station. When we woke up, turned out that it’s closed as we were afraid. Total experience here at the hotel was terrible, the staff were unprofessional for a 4 star hotel at all. The only good thing was the location.
