Villa Zina Family Resort

The hotel is located in the suburbs, in a quiet and peaceful area. Large hotel area. The rooms have everything you need, normal cleanliness. It would be good if the shower cabin had a door, otherwise the whole room floated after the shower. Extensive breakfast offer. For dinner, you can choose from two options (meat or fish). Very good food quality and very good level of service / waiters. Compliments! The receptionist had trouble understanding and calculating how much to pay for the wines ordered at dinner. Too manual, unprocessed system and this is just the beginning of the tourist season. The girl could not cope with simple arithmetic and it took too long. A more centralized system for collecting data on beverages consumed needs to be introduced.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Beach is far away. View from the room is to the wall🥴 breakfast - they even dont hive a coffee...no hot food...dissapointing. Only one advantage is the pool - quite big and clean.

Pool: 8.5/10. Very big and clean pool. You have to wear swimming caps though, which they don’t warn you about before arrival and they then cheekily charge €2,50 for. The changing rooms below the pool were quite dirty at the weekends. Animation team: 10/10. Fantastic entertainment and all very talented and friendly, especially Salvo and Simo. Despite most of the shows being in Italian, we enjoyed it a lot and the team made an effort to make us feel included. Reception: 6/10. Sometimes friendly, but mostly uninterested. On arrival, we weren’t given any information about the hotel (we didn’t realise we had to book tables for dinner and lunch!) and on departure, no one asked how our stay was. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready until 18:00 (2 hours late) and the staff were not willing to ask the cleaners to sort our room first. We had to ask for complementary coca colas to make up for it, which they reluctantly agreed to. On check-out, they again, reluctantly, agreed to allow us to check-out at 11am (1 hour late) to make up for our lost time. They made us pay full price for a meal which the restaurant had messed up three times in a row, meaning we ran out of time to eat the dessert there and we had to take it away. Restaurant: 7/10. Lovely friendly staff, but the food was only fine/satisfactory - nothing particularly amazing. There are different 22 Euro lunch and dinner 4 course set menus every day, with one fish/vegetarian option and one meat option for each course, as well as an A La Carte menu. It’s a real shame that the conservatory part of the restaurant is not used for meals - only the big dining room which lacks atmosphere. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Room: 7.5/10. Clean, comfortable and fairly modern. The shower head needs replacing though, and the water often switched between too hot and too cold. It also leaked on the bathroom floor. Balconies lack chairs. Our last night was plagued by extremely loud music banging through from the pool area until very late. Front evening bar: 10/10. Amazingly kind bar-lady who was a pleasure to talk to. Fantastic aperitivi drinks and snacks. Location: 7/10. We came without a car and the hotel is pretty isolated - about 30-45 minute walk to the nearest town and over an hour walk to the beach. However there is an AST bus stop nearby that takes you to Erice and San Vito Lo Capo a few times a day. It would be good if the hotel had a beach shuttle.

Tornati ieri da Villa Zina. Che dire? Più di quanto mi aspettassi al momento della prenotazione. - Meravigliosa piscina con bagnino molto attento anche alla pulizia. Belle giornate ventose, raccoglieva le foglie in continuazione e ci ha dato anche dei consigli su Custonaci. - stanze e zone comuni,molto pulite - colazione buona e varia (forse il salato un po' meno buono, ma comunque non male) - nonostante la grande affluenza, non abbiamo mai riscontrato eccessiva confusione o calca. - animazione non invadente né invasiva, ma presente, allegra ed educata. Il nostro bimbo di 4 anni (Giacomo) ha ballato la baby dance con il capo animatore e abbiamo fatto acquaGym in piscina. Abbiamo apprezzato tutto e torneremo con molto piacere ad Agosto. - ragazze al bar molto gentili e tagliere buonissimo. Grazie. Consigliatissimo.

cucina pessima ,abbiamo rimandato al cuoco totalmente i piatti non toccando il cibo......albergo nella media essendo un 4 stelle discreto la colazione escluso il caffè da sconsigliare a berlo. Location discreta da rimodernare ci ritornerei solo per dormire. G.Verrillo

Struttura veramente bella. Camera spaziosa e ben arredata. Ottima pulizia. Colazione molto varia e abbondante. Personale cordiale, professionale e molto gentile. Bellissima la piscina. Se proprio devo trovare una piccola pecca, nel bagno era presente la vasca con possibilità di fare la doccia ma per persone anziane o con difficoltà motorie potrebbe risultare non ottimale. Comunque l’esperienza è stata molto positiva, tornerei sicuramente per un soggiorno.
